Only thing I wish for separated manure would be nice for separator tower that you can put trailer underneath it and load it instead of falling through the trailer and would be nice if there was place to store the separated manure

I can’t get the separated manure for bedding to work on Griffin Indiana map. I can dump it in the barn and it disappears but does not add any additional bedding

@Farmer Klein I watched your video but my separators do not produce any Separated Manure - although it is running and I can see the droplets and it shows x amount of liters manure in separator but there is nothing and when I get back in game it is on zero again. I play on Carpathian Countryside and I have tried all the versions of the separators

In the real world it would be used to remove the solids out if the slurry to concentrate the slurry, spread the solids and use the liquid for a bga or slurry spreading. Be interested to know if the slurry once “separated” is completely used or if you get a little bit of fluid back in return for some separated solids as it doesn’t look like you doo

@@salilladelop just seems like it was a missed mechanic when implementing this, it’s awesome don’t get me wrong but essentially all that’s happening is your turning slurry or digestate from a liquid to a solid

I work on these machines a lot actually and yes the “water” or the bi product of the separators because they can never get all the water out goes in a return pipe back in to the reception pit it came from so it’s pretty much just recycled

Can you go further into how to "move" the separated manure? I had a converter, the Meridian tl 12-39 that wouldn't work with it, it just drove on top. I'm trying to used my maxed slurry and separated manure for bedding to my pigs but going single trip each time loading just 1k is much too slow. Any help would be greatly appreciated

What happens to the liquid component after separation? Is it just gone or can we still use it?

Its either evaporated or disposed of in some other way. No its not usable by the player.

So using a seperator will bring my slurry in half and all i get i a small bit of bedding.... Doesnt seem worth it at all or am i missing something?

'worth it' is relitive. If you have no other source of bedding then it can be as it would keep you from having to buy straw, or buy the equipment to produce and store straw, gives you something to spread vs spray for fertilizer.

I disabled automatic engine start and mine still shuts off after a few seconds, any idea what would cause that? I have it right next to a digestate tank

@@dozer3 the only solution I could come up with is load all the digestate into a tank (I downloaded the tlx one with unreal capacity) and park it next to it. Hope that helps

But Why? I wanted to use digestate in the pumps and hoses, coming from cut beets and or silage. Makes sense. But why the heck do something to a fertilizer to fertilize again. Unless it helps transport a concentrated solution to add water later. But that is where the digestate could be used right?

Maybe you prefer using the manure spreader vs slurry tanker. Maybe your using seperated manure as opposed to straw for bedding so your not growing a cereal crop just for straw. Choice is what makes FS so dynamic vs so many other games that are so linear in nature you sometimes just feel like your going thru the motions.

How much nitrogen can it apply with precision dlc?

Unless precision farming picks it up as regular manure which I woudl probably require either an update to PF or a script within pumps n hoses to make that change to PF I would say none at all as the nitrogen value of a fertilizer is defined within the PF mod itself so adding tihngs like seperated manure or compost or anhydrdious requires either changing the PF mod to know how much nitrogen to add for a given soil type or a script to inject those chnges like the anhydrious addon mod does.

Anyone else having an issue where the separator turns off when you sleep, and you have to turn it back on? Also it doesn't appear the BGA processes anything at all when you pass time as well. Is that just me?

the mod "Disable Turn Off Motor " will fix this but i've not tested it with pumps n hoses. I use it for beet cutting and conveyor belts etc.

No mod needed just turn off AUtomatic Engine Start in the game settings.

@@FarmerKlein Well, I dont have automatic engine start turned on. Also I get around $10k an hour when as I play (from the new BGA system).. thats a lot of money but fine whatever. If I speed up time instead of sleeping and just watch it, it will go up to $70k-120k per hour.. it's ruining my hard economy save on no man's land... ugh.

On the Creative mesh discord there is a comment about the large fermenter having output that is to high. Maybe that is what your seeing when you sleep.

I can't understand why we remove manure, and then put it back in. I know it has been separated, but still. Hygiene. I mean, if I go to the toilet, get it removed, then get it back in my apartment. I don't understand that I like the consept of this though, but I would rather put it into other stuff. Like soil etc..
