My favorite piece of stupid comedy about Punch Out Wii is this: It's the image at 14:22, where he's pointing at some jewelry, buying it for his girl. But he's kinda not actually pointing at the jewelry, he's a little off. So I have had this picture saved for assuredly over ten years now, of that image captioned simply, *"I WANT THE TABLE"*

@theboulderboulded5776

And the thing is a lot of the time these stereotypes aren't being portrayed in a negative light. Don Flamenco may be the stereotypical salsa dancing flamboyant Latino, but he's also kind of a badass ladies man who punches a bull out of a stadium and gifts a rose to a pretty lady. Soda Popinski may seem to parody the drunk Russian stereotype, which was true in the beginning original name bein Vodka Drunkenski, but the man in nothing but underwear and a fur hat carries two crates of his soda through the blistering colds of Russia, clearly not being bothered by a thing. The only one that I'm mixed on is Aran Ryan being a cheat, but I see that as a play on the whole "luck of the Irish" thing but insted of being lucky himself, he makes his own luck by cheating. I love this game and could talk about for hours honestly, it's so good. God we need another Punch-Out!!! game

Also Piston Hondo is like the least stereotyped fighter since he’s literally just a martial arts master, his Title Defense fight is also one of my favorites in the whole game. He’s also kind of a cocky guy too since when he bows he makes direct eye contact with Mac, a symbol of disrespect. He’s just really charming and he has the skills to back up his cockiness
