Not sure on best hotel but u can search via bnb or any other booking website. There are lots of options available. However just keep in mind Aurangabad is little costly on accommodation.

Road was ok. Mostly 4 lanes with few diversions. But enter/exit from Pune takes long time due to heavy traffic
