Garth Ennis is one of the great comic book writers. He has a distinct voice that might not be for everyone and he is known for over the top antics and violence however he can and has written very subtle stories with realistic characters and situations. His favorite topic seems to be depravity or mans inhumanity to man.

Agreed! Is there enough for a volume? There's Soviet, Get Fury, Platoon. Anymore? That's only 18. Unless you throw the Fury MAX series in there too... really hope it's on the table!

Love Ennis' Punisher Max! We need his later mini series in Omnibus format next, also give me og Punisher and Punisher War Journal series! I remember my original copy having small issues with spine but nothing a little glue didn't fix

I will be purchasing this omnibus on day one. This omnibus has been out of print for some time and eBay prices for this omnibus are too high. I own The Punisher/Platoon and The Punisher/Welcome Back, Frank both in trade paperbacks this was my introduction to Garth Ennis Punisher (Max) series. What Frank did to that old mob lady and the two polar bears (The Punisher/Welcome Back, Frank) in this story, will burn into your mind forever once you have read the story and seen the art, all you can say is "I hope I never make Frank naughty list and if I do, when he finds me; may he show mercy and put me down quick."

I dont understand why volume 2 isnt already incoming! I had them both a couple of years ago but sold them back after a moving and now im taking them back! This run was so f***** nice!

Ah, i love that completely black spine, but that old printing with the cartoony skull on the back is great too. But really, just seeing raw and uncut Garth being collected by marvel again makes me sooo happy, and my wallet very sad

This book is what I started with along with Born and Welcome Back Frank. I read this series as a teenager and I wonder what I would think about it now that I'm older.

Glad to see Punisher by Ennis reprinted. I've pre-ordered this as I wasn't totally into omnis at the time the original came out. Hopefully this leads to other Punisher titles being published again. Haven't had a new Epic since 2021.

I am glad they have not redesigned the spine (thank god), as such my purchase of vol 2 from CGN last year will happily stand together with the new vol 1 on the shelf.

This was my first omni. Im probably gonna save my money since I still have the original and its in good condition! I'm going to buy the reprint of vol. 2 because the spine got messed up on my copy. Love this run!

I have the originial printing of these aka the floppies! I have been waiting these forever. I did know about Omnibus when this was printed. Nick Fury saying he's going get some ladies of the night before that becomes illegal haha. Also, his reaction with Frank goes off the gride and there is no body. Also, that grave scene lives rent free in my head. Oh Frank's face. Excited for it.

I have the original editions. I haven't had any binding issues with volume 1 but volume 2 has horrible binding and the pages keep getting detached from the spine.

Anyone else have the original printing of volume 2 with a messed up spine? Mine was brand new from instocktrades and it instantly started to seperate when I opened it for the first time. The integrity of the binding was straight garbage. Definitely thinking about getting the probable reprint of volume 2 for sure. My volume one was even a used copy from Amazon and it’s got better binding smh

This has the 2 things I have hated the most since I started reading comics again; Ennis’ writing and Frank Castle/Punisher. However, happy for those that were waiting for this. Love your Omni overviews Omar. Cheers!
