Lucky is a good way to describe it. They are certainly a mass produced vehicle. However, even a reasonable person could see that a color scheduled for “Late Availability” (end of model year production) which also coincided with some form of a strike has to be considerably much less common compared to the other color swatches over what tends to be a multiyear color catalog. Of course, that only matters to those of us who have an eye for it, and there are many who do. So enjoy your Punk’n Rubicon and that beautiful *POP* of Rubicon RED trim offset against your metallic orange!

I had test driven a Gladiator Rubicon prior to a Gladiator Mojave about 3 summers back and preferred the Mojave. However, I'd be curious to get your feedback on your Rubi vs. Mojave and pros and cons of both. To be fair, your Mojave has to be relatively new as Punk'n would only have been offered for late availability '23 model year; and your '20 would have been broken in. Still, I and likely many others would be curious to get your fair minded feedback on the two.

Well, in truth, I thought about it for a day and had ordered them once before when they were near half the price as a just in case. However, I just couldn't check that box gleefully this time. Besides, the next thing you know, it seems like the price gets away from you. In truth, that $500 aux switch wasn't going to break the bank. Still, it gave me enough pause to start to think about some of the alternative aux switches that are in the market which could be a really cool upgrade anyway. So, I'll have fun figuring out another solution when and if the time ever comes that I need them. Oh, and besides, in the back of my mind there is always the idea that even one little part shortage could hold up an entire order. So, even though that likely wouldn't have happened with that Aux. Switch addition, it was possible. For example, it wasn't that much longer than a year ago that I had heard that Mojaves were being delayed, because the factory had run out of the "Mojave" decals used on the hood. Like, WOW, how does that happened, but it supposedly did. Also, I believe similar delays were also due to slush matts, LED lights, and I'm sure other things. So, all I can say is that I wasn't 100% on board with them on this order and I'm glad to have this delivered sooner vs. later. Cheers!
