Classical music fans - I hope you will enjoy the "Four Seasons of Rescue" with music by Antonio Vivaldi. The Four Seasons was composed exactly 300 years ago (1723)!! Vivaldi started his concert with an infectiously happy theme of Spring, but our story doesn't begin in a happy place... Disney was abandoned and then gave birth to three little puppies under an olive tree. As temperatures were falling, their future was uncertain, so I decided to start this rescue video with the music representing AUTUMN.
Once I gathered my equipment, the music changed to WINTER... it's a bit darker and stressful. Disney was protecting her puppies, but she also needed my food so she could provide them with milk. The music worked really well with the emotions and intensity of this rescue! Disney almost got me, but I saw that bite coming a split second before the attempt was made... did you see it too?
Once we arrived back in Los Angeles, the music changed again - now it is SPRING when things took a beautiful turn, and everybody got a nice warm bath. The family can rest for the first time, knowing they are safe with us.
The last movement happened a few weeks later, so I skipped to SUMMER when it was time for FUN! Pluto, Dug, and Goofy have grown a little. They still need their mom, but they are starting to play and test their new teeth on my fingers. OUCH! 😅
I'm sure most of you know PLUTO and GOOFY, and if you're wondering who DUG is, you should definitely watch the movie "UP" by Disney/Pixar. ❤️
It has been a while since I edited a video, but Justin is still recovering from his terrible motorcycle accident, and Rachael just had a beautiful baby, so I hope you will enjoy my work and this video. I know it's a bit long, but I didn't want to chop the music in a way that would make Vivaldi sad. 😊

I'll never understand how people can abandon their pets, like this sweet, brave, little Mama. She and her puppies are gorgeous. I'm a monthly donor to HFP, and I encourage everyone who's able to do the same.

Towards the end of the video, Disney was smiling. She knew she and her beautiful puppies were safe. Such a good mother to her pups. She was so gentle taking the cheeseburger from Eldad then her protective instincts kicked in. I hope this adorable family find their forever, loving homes soon. Eldad, you are magic! The gentle way you positioned the gentle snare and your timing, accompanied by your soothing words: brilliant! And the Vivaldi accompaniment throughout was so perfect, and timed just right. As someone else has commented, I just didn't want this video to end. Thank you for all you and Loreta and your team do. It was kind to shave her down when she could still see and be with her puppies,she seemed a little stunned when you got back to base and her puppies were there, like she could have lost them sweet little family,so content with her puppies, thanks for the love you showed this little family,a lot of work and travel and coordinating efforts,great work.😊

What an absolutely gorgeous and brave mama! She was so anxious and afraid at first, but you could see how grateful she was once she realized her puppies and herself are now safe, fed, having a soft warm bed and social interactions. This is what we used to call cute, little ones like this in my LA rescue days: "Disney Dogs". Once cleaned up, they're highly adoptable. How and why they end up on the streets, maybe escapees from BBs, but there were lots running around in the Valley areas. Thanks for saving this one, along w/her adorable, very young pups. If they're part PB, I hate to think of how that happened. They're already almost as big as Mama... poor Disney girl!😮 Anyway, Happy New Year! 💕🐾🎉

Hello Dear Ones! A desert? They were living in filth! It's a wonder that Modelo bottle was not broken! Thanks for the music. And it was in the background enough that I could hear you just fine. I'd never heard the other parts of that Vivaldi piece except for Spring. Disney is so beautiful and what a good mom! Scary to think about what she had been eating in order to survive. :( I am so pleased that Rachel had her baby. Congratulations! Justin, you are in my thoughts and prayers. It's a long row to hoe.
