So me and my Ma both have a kangal x Caucasian shepherd x dogge de Bordeaux (same litter) we live separately just for the record. The dogs was advertised as bullmastiff x Newfoundland. I have knowledge of both the Newfoundland and bullmastiff and it ticked all my boxes. But never even heard of a Kangal or Caucasian shepherd. But when we went to pick up the puppy there was a this gorgeous kangal (evidently the dad) I did ask is this the dad and breeder said no then took him out of the room… after weeks/ months of observation neither had characteristics or looks of the Newfoundland. We both had people as wow is that a kangal cross. So my Ma got her dog DNA tested and came back as the kangal x Caucasian x dogge de Bordeaux. So I then got mine done and came back same results. Lucky I have experience and time to research the breed and go from there. So I’m glad they turned out to be what they are because I would of never got gone for either of them breeds. Mine is very much a working dog personality needs to be walked 4 times a day but my Mas dog is more guarding by nature, really chilled but calculated. It’s really interesting but these breeds are NOT what either of us signed up for but luckily we could adapt once we educated ourselves. Love your videos man, they helped me so much leaned just a few tips, e.g like settling down after a walk that was the best thing I ever did was learn him chill out time. I didn’t do that with my staffy (I was young, didn’t know better) but yeah man. Love your videos man thank you 🙏

question on where to place crate. ive got a 11 week old cocker spaniel. I've had her 3 weeks today. its my fault i haven't started crate training. but ill be wanting to start now rather than too late. would it be confusing for our puppy to have 2 crates. one upstairs and one downstairs or should we stick to one downstairs?

How do U go with the crate training when it's whining to get out do U ignore it untill he/she settles, n then let them out? I was told if U grab it out when it's doing this it lets it know if it carries on he will get his way ???
