I SO appreciate your videos. I am very into body language in animals and spend a lot of time studying them and the way they communicate. The way you break down their communication is 🎯 with everything I have ever seen and then some. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. 🙏🏼 God bless you.

The way he communicates with Ronin is also very impressive, the assertive tone when calling him off versus the pacifying tone when inviting him to come. I love it.

Ronin is the reason I bought a Shepherd in the first place and Hopefully this year im gunna invest in a beautiful Malinois to go along with my GSD I have been training dogs since I was 6 years old so I have a fairly good understanding of dogs so I think it would be a great addition and btw if your thinking of getting a malinois make sure you understand this type of dog is a high energy and certainly not for 1st time dog owners they are highly intelligent and need alot of mental stimulation so be careful and take the right steps to get the most for the dog ❤

Hello! I LOVE watching your videos! Gives me a good explanation on dog’s behavior and what they are actually trying to say by little, almost noticeable gestures! Its interesting really! One question though, if anybody has tips PLEASE respond to this! I have a new puppy on the way and i have been informed several times to socialize them young. The only thing is im not necessarily sure where to start and how many restraints i have to put up for my puppy. Restraints as in leash, muzzle, et cetera. So, what im really trying to ask is how should I introduce a puppy to other dogs properly? Thank you!

Intact males will have visible testicles, but I think you'd have to ask about a female.

It's pretty obvious when a male is still intact since they still have there balls and sometimes if there aggressive that means still intact. I say sometimes because some dogs are just aggressive intact or not, but females you'd have to personally ask the owner that question

Question, my dog (Samoyed spayed male) has recently met one of my friend’s new dog (border collie female but idk if spayed yet). For some reason, the collie repeatedly follows my Samoyed and instantly flops right to the ground in a submissive fashion. Is this peculiar behavior, why repeatedly do the same move and follow the more dominant dog?

I hope to learn things from you here, but in reality, it all moves so fast. I do try but my dog is challenging to keep ahead of her unwanted behavior in that I recognize she is communicating to the other dog but she reacts faster than I figured out what she was telling the dog. I'm always working to improve though. she's submissive due to being the runt of the litter and she's a dominant female marking every few feet or so and scratching immediately after each time. that's why reading her is important. she is either going to be fine and play with the other dog needing absolutely no correction or she is going to give off warning snaps (thankfully they never make contact) and I want to correct her instantaneously. I still have lots to learn here.

Hi, I have a female husky at 14 months, she always stands over small dogs and always tries to attempt to bite their neck, I always correct her when I see her try and to it, but she still doesn't learn. I want her to get corrected by a dog, but I don't want to lead up to a fight. Any advice?
@Barks_Bridge6 ай бұрын
NO you don't want her corrected by a dog. There is no way you can tell that it wouldn't make her aggressive or the dog could physically hurt yours.. You need a prong collar and some balanced obedience training... @American Standard Dog Training channel has loads of helpful videos.. Good luck
@ya_bebe3536 ай бұрын
Only way she can get corrected if she imprinted. If it was her mother, she would act right. Dogs she wasn’t raised with is a no go….

So dogs can't talk with one another so little snips and snaps are how they communicate. I have not seen one actual dog fight on here only dominance scuffles. I grew up in rural areas and have seen plenty of dogs fights from my dogs protecting me from other dogs when out riding bike. Real dogs fight are a horrible thing to watch blood goes everywhere and when dogs bleed it mattes their fur and even small wounds look horrible. I've yet to see any matting of blood yet so no fights just posturing. And if it was a real fight those other dogs be done for with ronin in there cause those dogs are beasts. Why alot of military uses them
