Purchasing Decisions : Smart TV or Non Smart TV Which Is Better?

Out there looking for a New TV which one should you go for a Smart TV or a Non Smart TV variant of the same? I give you my practical examples as I had purchased 3 different TV's and does it make more sense to buy a non smart TV and just add something like Chromecast or Amazon Fire TV Stick to make it a smart TV.

I prefer nonsmart television and I will buy a smart tv box or Amazon fire stick or google chrome cast. Smart television will get slow over time due to memory constraints. TV should only be used as a display and all the memory should be on the separate device, it will be flexible.

I didn't notice any sort of problem of my Samsung smart TV.. Only once I have changed the main board of the TV because of voltage fluctuation problem occurred in my home... Otherwise it doesn't have any lag while switching over the apps..

I suggest you guys to go nearby Reliance digital store u can get a nice led 32 inch TV for 12k n in future if any problem occurs u can go to the store bcoz Reliance is gonna b there in future u can't trust Sanyo, le tv bla bla. Like u cant see many micromax TV now in markets and online.

Great video, good job. my old picture tube tv just went, was 16.5 years old and I just bought a new Roku box that I was using so having the Roku box I take it there's no need to buy a smart tv? Is that the only difference between a non smart and smart tv that you don't need a Roku or Amazon stick? Thanks for the help.

It's been 3 years and there has been so many budget Smart TVs released and I am in the market to buy one. Is it good to buy an Android TV or Smart TV from Samsung or LG or is better to just buy a standard TV and hook it up with a Chromecast or Firestick? Is there any advantage to do this over smart TVs. Hi Manuj, If Its A Android Certified Tv It Will have Google Play Store which chromecast or fire tv stick does not have. nothing else from software perspective. from hardware pointof view they might have better processor and more ram which could give better experiance while playing games.

hello dear, there is a lot of convinence with using fire stick as compared to smart tv. like - latest os - dual wifi ( budget samrt tv donet have this. ) - bluethooth connectivity ( budget samrt tv donet have this. ) - Smart remote with voice search - App store ( only certified android tv have app store ) MOST IMP : convinence of flexibility, you can use it with any tv and if going for holiday or friends place or for presentation just unplug it and carry it with you and plug in another tv and your same experience is there on that tv. i have a video on it if you wanna watch on my channel.

Ranjith Bhai, am using Target smart tv ( wisdom share smart tv) for 12K 32"led , it's have play store and sign with my id and download apps too some time using with my phone hot spot and it's ok, but remote basic with few buttons extra to normal led tv. Any support remotes and sich wifi can use for normal use.?

Hi Ranjit, I have been a follower of all your videos. I liked this video as I myself was not so amazed by the Smart Televisions because of the big price gap. I have been using a non-smart with Raspberry PI 2 (with KODI/OSMC) and found it to be very powerful. I think you should mention about this option too for techies like us.
