Once I got out of having to have a roommate in college, I didn’t have a roommate. I never trusted one of my roommates while I was in college. That’s the honest to God truth. May the young man rest in peace, and may his family sincerely, find peace through trusting God and knowing that he truly was on his mission to serve a higher purpose in his life. I can't imagine the heartbreak his family must be going through. Praying they receive all the support they will need in the coming days. I attended Purdue and I had 2 roommates (different semesters) who were both coo coo 🤪 1 I lived with for a few weeks, and she called campus police 🚔 & told them I stole her phone 📞 chord 🤦🏽‍♀️ I wasn't even in town. I left with a friend from campus & went to her home town. The other came back from Christmas break & moved out within an hour of meeting me. Let's just say, college is the place you meet some of the best people & some of the worst who have not been prepared to acclimate themselves with others who are different than what they're use to. Most times, Purdue will do all they can to avoid situations like this from occurring, if they're made aware. In this case, they probably had no idea (since it was unprovoked) & it became fatal. 😢 I'm just so sorry. 🕊

I wonder if there were any signs before this senseless murder occurred especially in a roommate situation there’s always an early sign. During my first year of uni, I was put in a double room dorm with a fourth year student and she was a very reckless and difficult person to get along with. She went as far to stealing money out of my desk on multiple occasions (I put a hidden camera and caught her the last time before I confronted her). When I approached the residence supervisor about it, she did nothing and referred me to other “resources” to contact. At that point I had to call the police for my own safety and discuss what my options were because I felt so vulnerable living in a room with her. Lesson to be learned- follow your instincts and don’t stay quiet if you feel something is wrong
