Maybe this Korean dude thinks he was being blackmailed…but it was probably that his roommate accidentally found out something about him while living with him( like being gay, stolen something, lied about grades ect) and BEFORE he could even blackmail him, he killed him…..this is why I literally don’t trust anyone, and would never live with a roommate

@@Ms.NoNo2 I actually have written lenghty comments about the unjust murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor by the hands of police officers and have been attacked with racial slurs, insults and derision myself, by many commenters online. As far as suspects of ethnic races, it is totally irrelevant to me what their ethnicity is and I only look at the facts of a crime that occurred. With the exception of a hate crime of course, which specifically targets a minority or particular ethnic group and is racially motivated in which there is no choice but to do so.

The killer said he was blackmailed...who knows, but him. I remember an incident years ago, where a roommate set up a hidden camera in his roommate's bedroom. It caught him having sex with another man and posting it for others in the college. That man took his own life.

Even if it's true that wouldn't give him the right to murder the roommate. I pray he is found guilty and is given either the death penalty or natural life sentence. Never to be free again. I don't think he was blackmailed, but was suffering from mental health issues. Also recently there was a missing Chinese student found drowned in a pond who may have been struggling also. We are having a mental health crisis in our young people.

I feel enormous sympathy for the victim and his family, and also for this suspect. Now he is feeling remorse, at least a good sign that he was completely aware of what he did but have to pay the price according to law. These are lost futures for both. Mental health screening should now be a priority to all especially to those in school. The pressure gets more serious generation by generation.

Because it would involve exposing the damaging or embarrassing information (once you go to the police about it and through the courts, it becomes public record), and risking that the suspect makes good on his word to expose you. The suspect isn't going to be arrested over blackmailing accusations, so he/she will be free to do whatever they want while the case is investigated.

i read that they playing video games on discord and the guy who killed the other one was losing and "rage quit"- i guess that means got pissed he was losing- and everyone could hear screaming/arguing- not sure if true, but that is what I heard.

I think he might be a spy from North Korea or Chinese sent to study the US cyber security and he got caught his real identity by the victim. The victim told him that he will be reported to the school and police. The killer doesnt seem like a person from South Korea at all. His last name is not South Korean but more of Chinese. Just my opinion.
