Fun fact: originally Discord was only going to be in two episodes of the show, and his voice actor (John De Lancie) went in there, did his lines and then completely forgot about it...then sometime later when the episode actually aired, he got tons of emails from My Little Pony fans praising him for his performance, and he was very confused, so he asked his wife "What's this My Little Pony thing?" She answered, "Oh, it's a show for little girls." He replied, "Honey...these emails, it isn't little girls who are sending them." ...and then he came back to voice the characters for eight more seasons.

As a fan of both shows, i can say both are worth watching. That said... Yes. Gravity Falls is worth watching.

Bill is so devious, so diabolical, and so unbelievably cold-hearted, he was able to say the line, "Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some children I need to turn into CORPSES!" ....While on the DISNEY Channel!

So what happened in the end was Discord teleported him back to the Nightmare Realm, but Bill killed him in the process. Bill won the battle but lost the war.

Probably one of the most equal death battles probably one of the only times in death battle history where both combatants are truly equal. Both had a couple small things on each other but overall they are on equal playing field.

you can look at it this way, since Discord is able to see the future he saw the only way he could win which was to trap Bill back in the nightmare realm which would cause his own death as he had to make Bill focus all his attention on him and make him angry so he would get tunnel vision, and since Discord is the only one able to travel freely through dimensions and Bill can't he was able to pull him back into the nightmare realm and create a fake Equestria which is why as soon as they left the portal Discord use a reason to mess with Bills mind which would really set him off. so once Discord got Bill trapped in the nightmare realm he just has to last long enough for the portal to closed and since he's dead he can just reform and once that happens travel back in time just moments after that portal closed to be with his friend again.

Even if some of the big stuff has just been spoiled, I 100% recommend Gravity Falls. I finally watched it to prep for this episode and I wasn't disappointed

one thing about this battle i didnt like is it was very obviously done so Bill would win, they forgot to mention any of Bills weaknesses that he actually had in the show all of which Discord was capable of using and instead they made up a weakness for Discord that he did not have. Not just does Discord have perfect regeneration its also much faster then Bills. In Gravity Falls Bill had lost an Eye and it took him a few minutes to regen this eye and while that happend he was in actual pain. Discord on the other hand never had this issue and even once used his eyeballs as golfballs and once they landed in the holes those holes on the ground becamse his new eyes where his body grew out of the grass. Not to mention them lying about Discord not healing his spirit when the episode where they showed his spirit weakening was the same episode his spirit was also repearing itself again. not even that the reason Discord was fading was due to himself not some outside force, he was his own reason for fading. They also lied when saying his body got destroyed and he came back as a spirit, Discords body in said epsidoe was only banished from the school (which btw didnt even work as confirmed by the writers) and then discord played along and turned himself into a ghost.. Personally i love this battle for its animation but hated all the lying

Ngl Gravity Falls is debatably the Spongebob of Disney. Most would say it's likely the best show on Disney

"oh wow what a great offer, how bout instead i shuffle the function of every hole in your face!" -Bill Cipher but yeah totally react to this show its amazing please check it out But i have never ever understood how people miss bill LITTERALLY turning discord to DUST, its like 9 out of every 10 reactors and its baffling, idk but yeah discord tricked bill into the nightmare realm to protect and save his friends, at the cost of his own life, Bill won death battle but discord saved his friends and so got a bit of a final laugh as bill crushed him to atoms

Since you happened to bring up Lobo, that made me think you should react to the Ghost Rider Vs. Lobo Death Battle. That one's crazy.

Discord DOES have regeneration, he can regenerate from any physical damage

This was definitely a 9/10 deathbattle amazing in everything except the end analysis (if you fully watch both shows then some of thier logic doesn’t make sense and cannon crossovers were excluded)

it's a little funny, they are absolutely every bit as powerful as you said and as the episode showed, but that doesn't even put either of them in the top 5 strongest characters this season. At absolute minimum, Phoenix, Raven, Superman, The Doctor, Galactus, and Unicron all beat both of them. And there are other characters this season you could make a case for too, even if it'd be more up in the air. All i mean by bringing this up is that it's interesting to me that we got a season with an average power level so much higher than usual

Gravity falls is a must watch. Seriously great

In contrast to what a lot of people say, I think bill lost the fight but will win the war. Lots of people say it the other way around. But regardless how long it takes bill to come back, he will come back. It takes time for people to forget but they do. It just takes one person. Or pony in this case. One single pony that makes a deal with him and he’ll return. And he won’t be defeated the same way twice. So even if discord somehow returns after his death, he’ll just loose again imo. Also yes, definitely watch gravity falls. It’s an amazing show and I’m sure you’ll love it. It’s funny, emotional and really a lot of fun.
