Bloodywood is an amazing band, with some of the noblest people in it as the members. Each of their song has a purpose, just like you just experienced here in 'Aaj'. For the next Bloodywood, I highly suggest 'Yaad' and 'Dana Dan'. The messages are strong in those two songs. I really love watching this reaction, watching you being excited about this amazing band. Thanks, Nittpicc!! 🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼

Bloodywood not only make banger music but also gives such a deep message in their video. In this age where lot of musician go after "hookup girls cars alcohol guns" For their mvs , bloodywood is like that positivity we needed to see on screen for society. I've read lot of comments saying how their music is so much impactful for them. Truly the band of a kind. ❤bloodywood

The flutist/guitarist is Karan, and he's essentially the reason Bloodywood exists. He also composes most of their music, if not all of it.

These guys are very hardworking. Toured a lot last years. "OldSkuleNerd" did meet them in Houston over a year back. Super random guys! I believe they're an independent band. At least was it for a time Funded by donations by people all over the world. It started when "Ari ari" went viral a few years back. Lyrics is a big piece of them. This is about overcoming yourself, another is about womens rights, then there's one about corrupt politicians. Obviously these guys got a lot on their heart

"Flute can be cool!" Ha! Before I listened to Bloodywood I wouldn't have agreed with that. Not something you hear in metal songs and it took me by surprise when I first found myself thinking that the flute sounded amazing. What?! The flute solo is awesome? It is! Just that I never thought I'd ever say such a thing. They have quite a few songs where the flute stands out - Ari Ari and Jee Veeray spring to mind. Flute can be cool. Liked the reaction by the way. I've heard this song many times but it's great to see someone listen to it for the first time and get it like you did.

The instrument right at the beginning is called 'Santoor', which is a board consisting of strings that are plucked by little tongs/hammers.

I'm so glad you got around to Bloodywood. Their songs generally have a message. Some will make you weep, some will make you rage. Karan (flute, guitar), Jayant (harsh vocals), and Raoul (rap) are the core of Bloodywood, and do the writing. The bassist and drummer also tour with them, and they also have a dhol player. Karan writes and tracks everything save the drums. Anything off their first album "Rakshak" is worth checking out. You mentioned everything being done with love, you are absolutely right. Not only are they passionate musicians, but they are kind hearted, humble, and wonderful humans. Always ready to laugh. I saw them in Dallas, (on the "Nine Inch Naans" tour) and it was great to hear a bunch of Americans singing in Hindi. They are currently working on their second album, probably coming out early next year.

The flutist/guitarist is Karan. He's a genius. He also directs and produces all the music videos for the band, edits and masters it. He's also does the music edit and mastering. Bloodywood are independent band. All music production is in house and they are self published. No label.

Dear #NittPicc, I think I saw 99% of Aaj reactions on KZfaq, but for a very, very, VEEEERY long time, ur reaction was absolutely THE BEST!! "Aaj" is not only an ordinary song, its a damn anthem! Please do " Dana, dan" next and please don't forget to put CCs ON!!!! I wish you all the best, stay safe and greetz from Germany... Edit: just saw that you already reacted to ELUVEITIE... May I suggest another masterpiece of music, at least in my opinion!? " FAUN ft. ELUVEITIE - GWYDION", German pagan folk meets Swiss folk metal...

Lots of flute in Bloodywood, and Karan is so good with it. It's prominent in Endurant, a song about bullying (watch out for that one, it made me cry, in a good way 🙂) and Jee Veerey (about depression, everyone cries). They write amazing songs with positive messages and powerful emotions, and are one of the best bands I've discovered in 20 years.

The band is from New Deli. I believe the rapper, the screamer, and the flutist/guitarist are the only permanent members of the band. They're very much into political and social commentary in their music, mostly on problems in India, but those problems exist everywhere to some degree. 'Gaddar' is about the need to keep religion and politics separate; 'Dana-Dan' is how it's the rapists and wife beaters who need to be beat up, and not their victims as is traditional in India. Another song is about mental health... another is about having to say goodbye to an old dog. Their music can be considered Nu-Metal, with Indian folk metal influences. So yeah, Linkin Park and Rage Against The Machine would be influences on them.

This is one of my favorite reactions ever to one of my favorite bands of all time. So glad you enjoyed it. Try Yaad next, maybe. All their stuff is great. My other short list faves: Home Free (country acapella - try "Man of Constant Sorrow" or "End of the Road"), Tommy Johansson (Swedish singer/composer/multi-instrumentalist - try "Winner Takes It All", or "Nu Gronskar Det" if you want to see him play multiple instruments), Galneryus (Japanese symphonic power/speed metal - try "Angel of Salvation"), Unlucky Morpheus (Japanese metal - try Cadaver/Revadac), and Otyken (Siberian folk metal - try "Phenomenon").

Hey NittPicc, I'm probably the only person to request this band, but if you could, PLEASE react to Solarus and their song Arrival. They are an independant Canadian symphonic operatic metal band. They are fantastic both as musicians and people. I had the pleasure of interviewing the singer Sarah and the guitarist Lucas last year and it was an incredible experience. They also love reactors and often comment on reactions thanking for the time to listen to their music 🤘🏻

Trying to think of some interesting global stuff you haven't done yet because you have been really on point with picks, Japanese metal, Indonesian metal, Indian metal etc. Otyken - Storm MV (Siberian, not metal) Jiluka - BLVCK MV (Japanese , yes again :) ) ATARASHII GAKKO! - OTONABLUE / THE FIRST TAKE (Japanese AGAIN, but not metal) Electric Callboy - We Got The Moves MV (German) Little Big - Rock Paper Scissors MV (Russian) Beast In Black - Blind & Frozen MV (Nordic, I think) We Butter The Bread With Butter - 20km/h (German) Broken By The Scream - Sayonara Birthday MV (Japanese (I know leave me alone!!!!)) Poppy - X (American) NanoWar of Steel - Valhalleluja MV (Italian) Otoboke Beaver - Don't Light My Fire (That country just to the East of Korea, I forget it's name)

Hey NittPicc 🙂 I am glad you liked the Suggestion. I really waited for this!! I was almost sure you do because who can´t Love this song if you Love the Flute :-) This is one of the most uplifting Song i ever heard. Bloodywood has so wonderful messages in every Song. They mix Metal with Rap and traditional Indian Instruments which makes them Kind of unique. You need to check out more of them. They really make you feel. Besides they write and publish all of their songs themselves. They originally started with a KZfaq Channel where the Idea was to Cover famous Bollywood Songs. With the Song Ari Ari they really fast got a lot of Fans which highly increased when KZfaq Reaction Channels started to React to the Song. Your Comparison with Linkin Park isn´t that wrong. You are not the first who got that Vibes. Actually they made a Cover of the Linkin Park Song Heavy back in 2017. The Woman that is singing is Archy. She calls herself The Snake Charmer and Indian´s first professional female Bagpipe Player. Most of her Songs are Indian Folk Tunes mixed with Bagpipe and singin for example her Song Scotland the Brave, India the Bold. There she mixes traditional Scottish Tunes with traditional Indian tunes. She is really worth a listen ;-) Have a beautiful Day and Greetings from Germany Sven
