Hi Matt, if you select a tone alarm then the volume will gently increase. If you choose a radio station as the alarm, you will need to select a fixed volume level for it to wake you up at. Thanks

Hello, thank you for reaching out! The Siesta Rise clock radio has 3 alarms that you can set. Once you set the 3 alarms, you simply have to press the alarm button corresponding to the alarm you want turned off to turn it off, or press it again to turn it back on. Example: to turn alarm 2 off, simply press the alarm 2 button. To turn it back on, press the alarm 2 button once more. The icon of the alarm that you have switched on will display to indicate that an alarm is set. You can find more information in the full manual. Thank you! very helpfull. I wish this to be better explained and demostrated in a video for new products to show ''shift workers'' a better alternative then the phone... if a wake up light was included this would be the ultimate alarm clock.. The Phillips only got 2 different alarms. @@PureAudioHQ
