Thanks for watching! The Yankees are currently going through injuries left and right. Their best pitcher, Gerrit Cole recently went down and will be sidelined for many weeks. They need rotation depth, and talent. Trevor Bauer is currently a free agent, and Trevor Bauer should be who the Yankees sign.

As a yankee fan I think this would be awesome the Yankees need pitching and a former Cy young winner saying he’ll sign for League minimum doesn’t come around too often to say the least and the fact he has a history of successfully working with our ace is just a bonus

I couldn't agree more. It's a perfect storm. Yankees want a good arm while spending as little as possible. Sure there will be some backlash but I think more people support Bauer than not. Imagine the jerseys they would sale and how many people would tune in or buy tickets to see Bauer pitch again. Not to mention the jersey sales too.

I'd buy a Yanks Bauer jersey right away after they sign him. Sadly I do not think that we will ever see Bauer pitching in the MLB again. I think him exposing all the sticky stuff is the real reason he is blackballed from the league. All the other stuff wasn't as bad as the stuff many other MLB players have done (all without punishment BTW) IMO.

They won’t do it because the league has a vendetta against Bauer. I don’t know why, he was clearly framed and if the legal system can’t find him guilty he should be reinstated. Mlb has let actual domestic abusers pitch in this league it’s not fair for someone who was falsely accused to be treated worse than actual abusers.

You kind of off base. When Cole attacked his work ethic at UCLA, it wasn’t that Bauer was lazy. He had wild unconventional ideas of how to do things. His long toss warm ups and how they annoyed coaches and players are the stuff of legends. He was doing against the grain training, not no training or little training.

@@PurelyBaseballYT but honestly any team that is ready to compete now should sign him. Instead of paying what Snell and Monty are asking for you could get Bauer for cheap. And if he for some reason doesn’t work out you haven’t spent a ton of money so it’s a really low risk move.

He’s wanting everyone to forget he’s an abuser and assaulted women and for teams to give him heavy incentives where he makes millions of dollars. It’s all tricks and gimmicks and deception. Nothing has changed with him. He’s a narcissist and sociopath that enjoys hurting others. The strongest union in the world won’t even back him. The players Union have supported MLB’s decision because they know what a cancer he is. If your own teammates don’t want you that says all we need to know. Wake up people.

His controversy was he had his own workout routine and he got hurt doing something innocent? They also banned him for being a victim of fraud. Strangely his time in Japan was a breath of fresh air for the country and for him.

It is truly amazing that all these people are out of touch with reality. Bauer is an elite pitcher in his prime and not one team has even offered him the League minimum. The Dodgers literally lost over 30 million dollars and all they had to do was let him work under his already agreed upon contract. It is pretty obvious that there is an unspoken ban on Bauer.

I couldn't agree with you more buddy. But the Yankees organization is high-and-mighty.They are pope francis and pope pieced or combined into one. They are high and mighty. If it makes sense they will not do it. It used to be that you were innocent until proven guilty but not any more. Bruh this is literally the same thing I was talking with my friends, also I think it was 3 days ago Fuzzy posted who should the Yankees signed since Cole is injured ???, and I posted Trevor Bauer on the comments. The comment has almost 500 likes and over 35 comments of people going back and forth. Trevor Bauer deserve another chance at the league and having a rotation w Cole, Bauer, Stroman, Rodon and Cortes is a nasty line up way nastier that Scherzer and Verlander when they were with the Tigers.

this a great video and hits the nail right on the head. One thing Baseball management and many supporters do not understand is that baseball competes for eyeballs with instagram, tic Tok and therefore it must be entertaining. If not it will die. Trevor Bauer is an entainer, maybe a Gordon Gekko type, the game needs this. Also, he is a great pitcher. Listen if the two are bitching to each other, sorry this is normal in profesional sports. Ask any football manager. But this rivarly will probably push the two guys. World Series are won on pitching. The NYY have some great bats, but not enough to winn it all. Trevor belongs in Baseball, he servered more than enough time. Even if consensul never hit a woman

The early release from prison was already a topic of anger in Japan, and Bauer's public support angered a lot of people (including many NPB fanbases), so it's been alleged that many NPB teams are now very hesistant to sign him.

Actually thats a little off. Yankees drafted Cole THEN he went to college then Cole reentered the draft and THEN got drafted again as a Pirate. Look it up. Cole got drafted by the Yankees first.

I’m surprised the commentariat’s so fixated solely on the most recent “incident.” He’d been a locker room cancer well before he was a professional. He couldn’t pitch more that an inning in the postseason because he sliced his hand in the immediate days before his start he threw a ball over the centerfield wall in frustration with his own performance as he was being pulled, none of his teammates have vouched for him since his suspension. No one wants to be in his presence. I agree he could be an impact pitcher, but it speaks volumes that no team wants him. He detracts from the joy baseball is meant to add to our lives, and he seeds bad vibes everywhere he goes. Hard pass for me. I’d genuinely prefer a few losses over the disgust his teammates and yankee fans would feel while rooting for him purely off the laundry
