The setup took a while, so it seemed, because you have to run 4 full tanks of water all the way through it, and then run some hot water, but once it's ready it does a great job of putting out metered amounts of deliciously purified water

It tastes more pure than bottled RO purified water, because water bottlers usually add minerals back in so it tastes "more natural".

We have tried many different items to filtrate our drinking water, including buying a refrigerator with a good water quality filtration rating. This ICEPURE Counter Top devise is so far the in our opinion and of other people that has tasted the water. The water tastes great, I do not mind dumping the brine water that others complain about. I guess you need to understand that in order for this filter to last it needs to regurgitate the minerals so the filter doesn't quickly clog.

You just need to be adding water every time the jar is close to empty or empty. From empty it will fill up itself to the top, otherwise you have to pay attention and stop it before it overflows . Great buy

Be aware that during the 30 second back flushing, a few drops of water may drip in the front where the carafe would sit and there may be a very small amount of water on the back ledge where the tank sits when it is removed for filling.

This means you can't simply top up the tank; instead, you have to remove it entirely. Additionally, the way the tank slides into the back is not very secure. You have to use both hands to line it up carefully, while tryingnot to spill the water.

If you are getting it to put under a kitchen cabinet (see photo), I'd recommend getting an appliance rolling tray because it's difficult to change out the tank in the back each day without sliding the whole unit out from under the cabinet

there is no automatic stop feature even when the jug is full. For instance, the jug was about one-quarter full when the machine indicated that the water in the reserve tank needed changing, even though it was still one-third full.

For those saying that this machine produces WAY more waste water than expected, IT'S NOT TRUE! (We were using it wrong!!) I, too, installed, flushed and ran a cycle and was dumbfounded that the carafe was full and there was still nearly 2/3 of the tap water remaining in the tap water tank. The math didn't line up.

My electric bill has been lower since using this product. I have it sitting on a 9-inch swivel disc that makes it very easy to rotate when removing tank to refill. I must also mention that it is of excellent quality and very sturdy.

The machine delivers fresh tasting water. How well it works is also very noticeable when sniffing the discharged water in the tank which smells like a lot of chlorine is in there, in other words the machine filtered all the chlorine out of our tap water and concentrated it in the discharge water. Great.

Water everywhere when changing the tank--don't believe the videos! The water tank design is poor: it has a handle but water can slosh out of the handle slots and the weird top is ill fitting and easily misaligned, also water seeps out of the bottom connections when filling the tank and finally it needs to be slid up about 1 inch to remove and slid down to replace, so a tight 16 inches means I have to move it out to change the tank and then move it back.

I use this filter water, then boil it. Let it cool, then add this filtered and boiled water (Make sure you have cooled the water to room temperature) to the Stokk filter machine. I am now drinking doubled filtered boiled water! Extremely fresh.

The unit also has a backflush feature after every use and after the water tank is replaced. I wish I found it sooner. We are renting so we could not use any other system but the countertop one.

My home testing of the water produced by this system show incredibly clean water. We begin with pretty clean source water, but there’s practically nothing but water after passing through the entire system . . . and this R/O system is the final “polishing”.

The infuser has been super for me as I have a lot of fresh mint and fruit around. I like the taste and I amndrinking less sugared drinks now. Also you don't have to wait long for the water to filter, not like Britta. Size works great for 1-2 people. I am very happy with my purchase.

It’s easy to set up, quiet, fits right on my countertop without taking up much room, and produces the most crystal clear, refreshing water. It's pretty easy to get hot water for a cup of tea or room temperature water in a water bottle. The reservoir is large so you aren't constantly refilling the tank

My other concern would be the availability of the filters, because this is not a huge name Brand and it uses special filters they might be a bit cumbersome in price and hard to come by.

The tank does get heavy, so having to maneuver the tank in a tight area will be difficult for draining and filling. The tank is also tall, so filling it in a sink will need to have a deep sink or tall faucet to get it filled

I love my countertop unit, it's convenient, runs well, and gives me pure-tasting water. You do need to designate some counter space for it, bearing in mind that the water container will have to be removed and refilled, I end up filling it at the most twice a day
