Thank you for the video I went out today and got the purge valve kit you mentioned. It is a simple kit you cut the old purge valve out it comes with 4 quick disconnects 2 straight lines 2 elbows. Put the quick disconnects on and reconnect the lines now you got the quick disconnects to use the kit in the future.

I took my beauty cover off and never put it back on. Retains too much heat on components

I had my 3rd purge valve replaced months ago and today I found the one that goes under was glued with the nipple broken. What part has to be replaced that has the nipple? Really pisses me off that this should have been a recall. I took my car back to the mechanic to ask why he used JB Weld. I was dumb enough to leave my car with him and he denied using JB Weld then went ahead and fixed it without telling me anything and since he denied it charged me $397.00. Telling me maybe when you got your oil changed they did it. My husband changes my oil. Noone else has touched my car since that repair.

To get the back valve off were you able to get 2 hands on it? Cannot do this with one hand.
