So i used 0.1% retinol cream (requil) for couple of months.. never faced any irritation .......so i got confident and started using 0.2% retinol (deconstruct) and skin started getting irritated!

I am using Tretinoin 0.025 for 8 months now, didn't experience any purging, and therefore I am afraid of going to 0.05 now😅

@@sakya325 kuch 6/7 mahino me, tretinoin k pehle mai salicylic 1% use karti thi , uske baad I swithed to 1% Retinol from Ordinary, uskebaad dheere dheere Tretinon 0.025 introduce kiya , pehle mai ye hafte me ek baar lagaati thi, ab kuch 1 saal baad I use it 3/4 times in week. I am yet to switch to 0.5 Tret.

if purging lasts more than 2 months without improving, it might be signs of irritation, it's best to see a dermatologist in that case

Don't you guys have any Dermatologists around to see ? Why ask on KZfaq videos after months of ruining your skin "Pls guide me" sorry to come harsh but why... Why are u asking here and not your Dermat... That too after damaging your skin. And still wanting to use products recommended by Influencers... I mean it's ok to use them , but not when you have damaged skin. Pls Consult a Dermat

I use retinol serums , and benozyl peroxide + 1% adapelene gel for quite sometime now, I have mild but consistent acne breakouts, I.e 2-3 every month now and my skin is extremely susceptible to scarring, I want to start tretenoin can I start with 0.05%?

Happy to hear! Concentrate in your next two years and prepare of NEET ug exam. Get an admission in med school for MBBS as it is the basic qualification to be a dermatologist. Further go for an MD in dermatology after clearing your NEET pg examination. Yes the way for it is gonna be really hard but yes nothing is impossible!!

It’s the same. Tretinoin is the actual chemical compound while Retin A is the brand name of tube you buy.

Tretinoin is a type of retinoid like as retinol and adapaline , its just a powerful version. You should use after consulting a dermat .

Ma'am I'm also a medical student. I started using tretinoin cz my dermatologist prescribed me. The first week went well cz maybe I'm used to active ingredients. I am using vit c and niacinamide at day for my hyperpigmentation and tretinoin at night. But after the first week my skin is purging now as u said. Idk if it's irritation or normal purging. Should i stop using vit c and niacinamide during day and only use tretinoin????

hy di ....i love yr contents as well as u ..❣️ recently my dermat recommend to use tretenoin ..i used that for 2months probably then I got bumby skin my dermat told me this occurs due to not doing double cleansing nd also she recommended me to use derivo bpo gel (mix of benzoyl peroxide+adapelen)in night nd in morning cindamycin gel along my usual skincare for 3weeks...so acc to ur info i didnot use my retinol with these active ingredients.....now my skin is clearing .. literally i didn't see my skin so clear ever🤣 ...i worked in a week ..but I'll continue it for 3 weeks acc to the prescription ...Now my query is ---- ..after 1month I'll strt using retinol ..so tab ye retinol nd benzyl peroxide should I use alternate day or only use retinol..???...... and is there any clinical side effects of using cindamycin nd benzoyl peroxide for long run???..plzzz tell me di ........ also I wanna tell u i m preparing for neet.....want to be a doctor specially dermatologist😊like u
