Why are all the filters you make the 15,000 mile ones? Called customer service an they said all filters are 20k but in 15k mile boxes. Sounds like BS to me

Thanks, interestingly, what happenstances,** and backgrounds…..?. I just switched ****to BOSS (buying from ADVANCE/ Carquest store .OTC). on two vehicle’s: changing from NAPA GOLD( WIX,), & occasionally Royal Purple)…….. Trying to Remember (??) RPURPLE were covered / Opening/clear plastic , INSIDE FILTER BOX:: but that is good idea, as OIL FILTES CAN TAKE A BEATING *& debris , damage inside: occasionally unsure about products now on STORE SHELVES , customer. Mishandling

I had a defective one too. The filter failed and restricted oil flow to the lifters in my car. I wasn’t too happy about that…

@@dellsucksass always shake and tap on filter to see if anything is loose or rattles inside!

@@revbikerbigd8664 I remember shaking it to see if I could at least hear something, I didn’t hear anything. Something had to have failed internally in the filter to cause the issue I had. I took it back to the store, and my brother (works for Advance Auto) swapped it under warranty since it was defective with almost 70 miles on it. I wasn’t going to play any games at that point. My biggest concern was if I had to replace the motor, but I got lucky and didn’t need to. I’m running a Motorcraft filter right now and have no issues. I have the replacement filter I’m my garage, but I don’t know if I want to take a chance with it again.

@@dellsucksass thanks.. ? I just changed two vehicles, to all BOSS! Anyways, any follow up , or reason, or warranty’s, or ideas?????? Thanks again
