I don’t get why so many people counter by saying they’ve always been chibi. The whole reason people didn’t like them was because they didn’t think the style translated well from 2D to 3D. Don’t get me wrong, I personally really like them, especially after this trailer. But at first I was on the fence because I thought they looked a bit jarring with the updated graphics.

My main problem was the lighting. The drastic change between bright in battle and grey outside of battle is a very stark contrast. Also, the characters in battle lacked any real depth or shading. Glad they fixed these problems tho, I am very hyped!

Funny enough… these are actually my favorite starters of all the games. Cyndaquil was my OG for Soul Silver, Oshawatt was my boy for Pokémon Black(got the game as a birthday gift from my dad), and Rowlett was my favorite cause he was the first Ghost-Type starter plus I like the archer aspect of his evolved form.

Legends is the main draw for me! In fact since it's only coming out in January, it'll be the only Pokémon game I'll need from now. I prefer to skip having to destroy my eyes and paying $60 to see 3-foot tall Cynthia. No thanks!!
