I just like they made Puscifer (I do like this band a lot), instead of changing the style of another band... imagine if this was APC, or Tool? Blink 182 did perfect with Box Car Racer, but then, Blink actually changed, and look at how it's received. I like each Puscifer, APC, and Tool a lot each for their unique trait. Tool has some dark bases, and their style is just genius, even if it's not as catchy as any APC or Puscifer song (Lateralus for example, sticks to the fibonacci sequence, and sorting out their songs in the same sequence will give us an album called "The Holy Gift"). APC, for me is more like a 'random' and more simple metal band focused more on melody than experiments. Puscifer, well, I don't have to tell you the differences, but as a keyboardist/bassist/composer, this sound is really awesome for me. Anyway, just leaving my 2 cents...

This video's subject is the way "news" media manufactures fear and outrage to get higher viewership and make more money, and how that ends up pushing both sides of the political aisle farther and farther apart, burning bridges and severing connections between people with different opinions. The subject of the song itself is experiencing the self destruction of a loved one, and some of the emotional processes involved. I think it's a good fit for what's been happening here in the US and elsewhere in the world. Anyways, Trump is a very recognizable symbol of this practice and in my opinion was the best example of a "media monster" to represent the idea.
