Who else gets really bad ear pressure, tinnitus, and just ear problems in general? I get pain occasionally and I can feel the tightness in the muscles and hear a click in my jaw, but my most distressing symptoms involve my ears and hearing.

Ebony R. B. Isn’t that something smh, my tmjd has already affected my speech. As you know we use our teeth and tongue to talk and because the cusps on some of my molars were shaved by an idiot dentist, I had to learn to speak the way I normally do all over, it didn’t take long because the body is so miraculous thank god it just knows how to adapt. And too much talking now hurts the skull muscles on the side of my head oh and forget singing...my jaw muscles won’t even allow me to belt tunes like I used too at all...I can’t stand having this ugh

Thank you both!!! I have had TMJ for more than 20 years, but it doesn't bother me often. Last night my jaw popped out when yawning, and I couldn't get it back in place. It's come out of place before - infrequently, the last time several years ago - but would always go back in within a minute or two (though it seemed like much longer). Last night it just wouldn't go back so I went to the ER. They tried to manipulate it back without success. While I was waiting for an X-ray, I found this video. I had been massaging the area before, without success, but focusing on the pressure points above was magic! Somehow the muscles (which were quite tense and sore by then - 4 hours after the initial incident) relaxed and it literally "popped" back in place. I can't thank you enough!

Oh my gosh 💖 thank you so much for this!! About a year ago I got in a car wreck & busted the windshield with my head. The impact caused my jaw to be knocked out of place. I ended up going to a chiropractor and a dentist who sent me to a specialist. They said, basically, the disk in my jaw was ruptured. I chose not to have surgery because i heard jaw surgery is brutal(?). Now I wish I would have because it is constant discomfort and actually..... I cannot find a comfortable position to put my jaw anymore. I had TMJ and a popping jaw for about 10 years before this. So there was already a problem!

Wow that helped a lot. I’ve been trying exercises and it hasn’t helped that much. But massaging really helped with the pain.

I've suffered from migraines for years, these helped temporarily ease the pain of an active one! I wish my doctors had shown me these before. I will do them regularly to hopefully prevent future ones

I love Davies' book - we use it regularly. Buccal massage is one of the most painful I've ever experienced. I have bruxism at night, so the first time I did the mouth and jaw trigger points, I almost passed out. I had no idea I was carrying around so much potential pain. Fortunately the muscles are more relaxed now, but I still go in and work on trigger points to keep them that way. Thank you for letting people know about this helpful (and user friendly) book,

I found your video while researching TMJ. I've been to my GP, the dentist and ER, both twice in one week and have three different determinations because everything is a process of elimination. I felt like I was going crazy because the pain is off the charts. It felt like muscle spasms / ice pick headaches. After 3 weeks it became unbearable. I came across your videos and tried the exercises you showed. I haven't had a muscle spasm in 15 minutes. That may not sound like a long time but when you're having them every 30 seconds for hours, at a pain scale of 10 or higher, it is. Thank you for sharing these!

I've just had a second root canal after getting a jaw abcess drained, and my TMJ pain was so bad that it woke me up (thanks, fibromyalgia); tried this, and it has decreased dramatically... Thank you, guys. I'm going to continue to use these while listening to some binaural beats, and hopefully be able to sleep again. Wish I'd known about these for the first round!

Having a first time tmj flare up after placement of a crown and then bad bite for 3 months. Watched this yesterday and have already had so much improvement. Thank you thank you thank you! I was having a lot of pain at my temple and realized I had a huge knot above my earlobe on the side the crown got placed. I massaged it and haven’t had pain there in 12 hours - longest relief I have had in 3 weeks. I do have a sore spot where the knot was but I’ll take it! THANK YOU
