This is awesome, can you show a good application for that on the kit, dude? I have the pull-push down pretty good, I just don't know how to practice it on the drum kit...Thanks Bro!

Exactly what I would like to see.

Excellent suggestion. I always think it's a good technique but it must translate to the practical situations. And I'll say his wrist motion is beautiful. Like watching a birds wing in flight

At about 1:300 I see that you change from an American grip to French grip. Is that consious, or just muscle memory kicking in? Can you explain the reasons around using French as you increase speed? I find it harder to keep the stick in control using French at higher speed/volume, but ive noticed it works well for some other people.

Thank you for your message! I apologize for the late reply. The reason why the French grip is used at high speed is that it suppresses excessive wrist interlocking and makes it easier to draw out only the movement of the fingers. I think the more wrist movement you have, the easier it is to slow down.
Increase your speed easly without accents by french grip. What is the point of push pull stroke by french grip?

Thanks for your comment. I think that the point is to link the expansion and contraction movements of all the knuckle joints from the base joints of the fingers to the dorsiflexion movements of the wrist joints.

Terrific playing. When you begin to speed up, like at the 2:14 mark, does the thumb continue to bend up and down or does it remain stiff?

Just watching the video, I think he moves his thumb when he taps triple too. Soory I'm not him but it may help I hope.
