Christ on a stick Russia and North Korea sign a new Axis of Evil pact. This is Adolf Putin Germany / Italy pact all over again only this time Russia. Well I say this time lets not forget Nazi Germany / Russia pact that saw the Russians invade Poland with Nazi Germany. It shows the level of desperate problems Russia has when it needs to beg North Korea for weapons. What is that ? So does Ukraine ? Sure but Russia was suppose to be a Super Power which is now begging one of the poorest nations in the world for weapons to fight a war it started lol. Putin must hate having to go crawling to North Korea to beg for weapons lol.

The US is nothing but a war machine. The US dollar is backed by the US military industrial complex. When countries deny the US dollar or deny doing business with the US, then the US will conjure up war or chaos. It's horrible. The US Government is the evil of the world. One reason the world can't have peace. President Eisenhower and JFK warned the American people about these things. Now here we are on the brink of a nuclear war.

More whitewashing of communist regimes by Alexander Mercouris. No mention of North Korea's concentration camps where millions have been imprisoned. The people are forbidden from leaving and forced to work at assigned jobs - they are slaves to the dictator. But Alexander Mercouris instead claims that the dictator's granddad was "leading the resistance against the Japanese," and triumphantly smiles when saying that North Korea's regime didn't fall in the 1990s. Take that, evil capitalists! Alexander Mercouris has also claimed that Lenin and Stalin, who murdered 60 million slaves in the Soviet Union, the biggest slaughter in world history, and who maligned Russian history, were "a natural part of Russian history." He also claims that Xi Jinping is not a dictator because "he can't dictate alone!" Which means that almost no dictatorship in history has actually been a dictatorship. And of course, the Soviet Union was "a technological superpower!" He really wants to call it a superpower, period. Never mentioning that they stole technology from the West through spies, which he simply claims is a lie. He holds up their space program - communist apologists always hold up these big pride projects that communist states always throw enormous sums of money on, to brag about how superior they are. While the people are poor and have only one set of clothes. The Soviet Union's dentist equipment was ON THE LEVEL OF THE 1940S even in 1990. They had no medical progress, buying medicine from France to sell in stores only the party elite were allowed in. But, "technological superpower."

The message to NATO is that if you can supply high technology weapons to our enemies, then we can do the same to yours. There is a chance to help North Korea develop their economy to help improve the circumstances of its people. Yes, the Pyongyang Government is a very strange hereditary authoritarian one, but the people deserve a better economic life, and this will help the country to move to a better system as it did in other developing countries. Also, it is easier to control the excesses of a country by engagement and mutual trade than by sanctions and isolation. The resistance of the Koreans against Imperial Japan was heroic and is an unsung achievement of the 2WW, whereas the French Resistance is well recognised.
@JosephBisio
@JosephBisio Ай бұрын
"but the people deserve a better economic life, " You think the Kim regime cares about the NK people ?? At best the life of the carefully chosen residents of Pyongyang might improve a little. That would be about it... Its estimated that 33% of NK's GDP goes to its military and military spending....

Watching the great welcome President Putin, received in North Korea, and the out pouring of love 😊for the two leaders was amazing 😅, also seeing how clean their capital city is,unlike D.C. USA. This proves that lobbyists, special interest groups, apac, corrupt presidents, senator's, congressman (women),military industrial, 700-800, military bases around the globe, using our military in hideous killing wars, on innocent populations, using our America's wealth instead in us the American people 😢, term limits, and making unelected government employees, who create (neo-cons) the chaos around the world, to prison, and personal wealth stripped from them for being traitors to our freedom and constitution.

To sum up, China does not create an alliance militarily like NATO because that would disrupt the peace and keep the world in hostile stage. Of course, this will be changed when the western aggression towards China reaches to the extreme level. Nevertheless, none of the countries need other help militarily as of now. While west claim China, N.korea providing weapons to Russia, they have never provided any evidence just like Xinjiang debacle...

And the ones who murdered the most, were Lenin and Stalin - killing more than 60 million imprisoned slaves. The people were forbidden to leave the communist countries, and are still forbidden from leaving North Korea today, a country where the people would starve to death without constant aid from the West and from China and Russia. But a communist like you thinks the people deserve to be treated the way communist regimes treat them.

What's more likely going to happen is that Russia will incorporate Ukraine into the Union State. The Ukrainians will be attracted to work in Russia for remittances due to better work opportunities and send the money for whoever is left in Ukrainian territory that is willing to repair the country. I suspect that the Ukrainians that left due to the war will be repatriated back into the country. The worsening conditions of European economies due to de-industrialization and recession/depression will also attract alot of Eastern Europeans into Russia. North Koreans will definitely work in Russia as well. War tends to incentivize a baby boom, and since most young Ukrainian men have died in this war, we will see a lot of Russian-Ukrainian marriages. Russia has created the conditions for a demographic transformation, like the US experienced after WW2. I don't think the Europeans realize the long term implications for what they have done. The days when Europeans looked to Paris and London are ending, it'll be towards Moscow that they will begin to look at.

North Korea has 36,000 artillery guns pointed at South Korea and they were stupid enough to give away a large amount of their artillery shells to Ukraine. The North will overrun the South in one week because of this.

Great commentary re: Russia and Chosun (N. Korea). Stalin WAS the one to march on Pyongyang, kicking out the Japanese at the end of WW2 after U.S. indicated at the Cairo Conference that Chosun would remain in Japanese hands after the war. People of north and south Korea have innumerable reasons to appreciate and be loyal to Russia.

After U.S. indicated at the Cairo Conference that Chosun would remain in Japanese hands after the war. This is just FALSE: "As announced in the Cairo Declaration, issued on December 1, 1943; the Allies agreed that after its unconditional surrender, Japan would “be stripped ‘of all the islands in the Pacific which she has seized or occupied since the beginning of the First World War’; all Chinese territory would be returned to China; and Korea would become ‘free and independent.’”

@@JosephBisioAre people in the South keen on Russia?? That's cool. There's no daylight between U.S. occupation and Japanese occupation of South Korea -- that could be one of MANY reasons some in the South would like to be closer allied to Russia. Land reform in NK after WW2: Russia let farmers working the land keep the land (for free) in 1948. Land reform in the South: U.S. sold land to highest bidders starting in 1953. Only idiots would actually support take over/occupation of their country, imo.

the purpose of Putin's visit is a military one. It is mainly about allowing naval transit for China on the Tumen River. This river starts in China and delimits the Russian-Korean border, and North Korea's consent is also needed to allow the navigation of Chinese ships. Agreement that North Korea will give, in exchange for some old contracts with Russia, especially for food and energy. But you're probably wondering what's the point? The stake is terrible, and through this contract Russia is taking revenge on both Japan and South Korea. Now China has direct access to the Sea of Japan, and as for South Korea, it can be attacked by China from two directions. Basically, through the navigation permit, China has access to an ultra-strategic area. But where is Russia's interest? If you think revenge is the goal, you are wrong! In fact Russia has a big problem: to maintain its maritime relevance it urgently needs to replace about 100 warships in the next 10-15 years. The Russians know exactly what they want, they just don't have the production capacity for what they need. So, through the free pass granted to China, they secured access to China's shipyards for the construction of 100 warships over the next 15 years. In this way they solve their problems as their own shipyards will only use them for submarines, a much more sensitive technology and impossible to outsource. Chinese shipyards are by far the best in the world, able to carry out orders that no one else can.

A Chinese defense official made the statement China would come to Russias assistance in the even of attack by her enemies (NATO in Europe) . The next Day a Russian defense official made the statement that Russian AF will always help to defend "Chinese sovereignty" when it is threatened , and it seemed very clear at the time , that was a reference to Taiwan.

Funny now is that NK has a market in Russia and can earn some money. All the attempt to isolate it - are done with Russia and China. Still a country with a LARGE problem in its nuclear weapons. Not meaning this political - but nuclear weapons are not easy to make and require a large industry, while NK is a small country. That is a heavy burden. But with Russia now - there is a chance for an economy to grow. Heck, NK may even decide to cut down on its nuclear weapons and go into a more economic development.
