Russia has blamed Ukraine for stalled peace talks over the ongoing conflict, claiming that there is no sign that Ukraine is ready for talks. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, said that the aborted 2022 deal could be the basis for new peace talks. Meanwhile, Putin has mocked Switzerland's planned peace summit on the Ukraine war, where Russia isn't invited. I don’t agree with Putin’s strategy of spending 2 years grinding down Ukraine and NATO. Yes, Russia’s losses have been minimal while Ukraine’s losses have been devastating but his slow pace was taken by the U.S. as being weak. When dealing with bullies you must be decisive and tough otherwise they will not believe that you can win. That is why the U.S. strategy in conflicts is always “Shock and Awe”
