This song is in Malay, Indonesian and Malaysian used this language, and Putri grew up in Riau, which language and culture is similar with Malaysia. So, Putri is familiar with this song/language. I grew up in East Sumatera, so I know this language. Thanks for the reaction for Putri. I hope one day, Dato Siti Nurhaliza (who originally sang it) and Putri Ariani will sing together, especially in Malay songs 🥰

Lee, FYI: This is a V-Convention that happens every year in Malaysia. Putri was invited to participate. The event lasted a few days with other performers. The V-Convention is the biggest event organized with experienced business leaders and global entrepreneurs numbering to several thousands in attendance. Love Putri's voice.

I've never seen a singer cover this song as well as a Putri while playing the piano, with a more complicated arrangement but still pleasing to the ear and not leaving the original rhythm. I'm sure even the original singer would be proud to see Putri singing this song.

Putri also sings in Arabic. She sounds like a native. There are different dialects and accents in Arabic. I heard Egyptian, Syrian and Arabic golf songs that she interprets like a native every time. She read the Quran in braille with barely any accent. Such an affinity with sounds. I wish her good health and a very successful career.

This is Malay song, not Indian or Arabic. But yes, heavy influence from other cultures. And yes, the language can be considered native to Putri's since Malay and Indonesian language is almost the same

Someone commented this song is a cover, original singer is Dato Siti Nurhaliza of Malaysia. I won't be wrong to say that Malaysians are very protective of this song, in a way. This is a Malay song, tje genre is Asli, not easy to master the melodic rhythm. You rightly said she seems to know the language....yes, Malay and Indonesian language are basically the same. This was at a concert in Penang, Malaysia. She's doing a great cover. To make a fair assessment, maybe you can google this song, Cindai (pronounced chin-dai) Siti Nurhaliza and see how Putri Ariani did
