Why don´t you do a proper job and use epoxy resin, you can use fast hardening ones, because resin heating is not so much problem in this application ? If you put shredded glasfiber into the resin it will make a even stronger leading and trailing edge than before. And for the roughened blade use finishing resin, to restore an even surface. You sanded into the fin making it weaker, easily visible by black dust coming from carbonfibers.

Hi Rasmus. If you look at my other videos there is a guide on how to repair with epoxy and fibreglass. This video is to see if it was possible to repair such a large area fast and when the snow is gone I will test the repair to see if the this repair can hold when the fin flexes. I am as many people at my age always a bit short on time. Being middle aged is just a grind😬 Using 400 sanding paper I think the amount of carbon fibres removed from the fin is minimal, but there will always some material lost when sanding. From time to time I sand the whole surface area of my fins and foils, and there is also a small amount of material lost. Have a great weekend, Kasper
