Bought the Sentiments stamp recently from Anna on HSN. I’m going this route since don’t I don’t have MAC to download this file. Otherwise, this video is excellent.

I needled this. Thank you. Can you direct me to your video for making cards on a regular sticky mat. The card mats are too expensive to keep replacing.

Thank you for this video! So helpful. Wondering if they make a template to address the envelopes? Would an envelope work on the card mat? Also, do you ever have to change the blade on the Cricut Joy?

Nancy Kulaga I am very glad to hear that you found this helpful. I was thinking you could design an envelope template quite easily and use the CardMat with it. As for the blade, I just changed mine after about four weeks of very heavy use. I thought that was good. I posted a video today about changing the blade that you might want to look at. It’s on my channel.

Hiii do you have any videos making a small box on the joy? I cant figure it out

I do not but I can plan for one. The problem with doing a box on the Joy is with the scoring. The Joy can’t handle scoring, BUT you can get around it by using outside designer’s SVGs or by hand scoring your cut pieces. Let me see what I can come up with.

@@MissRitaToTheRescue omg please I would love that I will do the scoring on my own I just want to make a small box and be able to do it on the joy.. only reason why I bought it was for smaller projects so I dont have to log out the big machines for just one box 🤪

I love your videos. I just received my Joy about 2 hours ago. I couldn't wait to get started making some cards with the card mat. But I have a problem after just cutting 2 cards my mat is no longer sticky. I would expect it to last longer then just 2 cards. I don't know how everyone else's mats last so long. Anyway i really enjoy watching your videos and your fur babies are so cute. Keep the videos coming.

Hi Angie! Thanks so much for the feedback. The CardMat does wear down quickly but not that quickly. I would highly recommend that you contact Cricut Customer Care and give them that info. I had one other person tell me something like that and she told me they sent her a new one. I think my first CardMat lasted about a dozen cards and I had to get a little creative because the machine launch was two weeks away. So I used a reposition-able glue called Zig Two Way to bring the stick back until I could get a new one. It worked pretty well.

They are kind of “hidden” in many of the Anna Griffin card sets...or you can pick up my free DS file that has many of them. It’s in the description of this video.

which card stock you are using?

To make Insert Cards, I use 8.5” x 12” solid Card stock that has a medium weight of between 60 and 80 pounds. It’s perfect for cards. I usually get it from either Michael’s or Joann. At Michaels the brand is Recollections and at Joann it is Park Lane. Both brands are smooth card stock. You can also cut 12” x 12” paper, but it needs to be trimmed to 8.5” x 11” first.

No, but I’m sure that will work. Instead I picked up a sentiment from one of her cartridges. You can find them in Design Space.

How do I get to the Anna Griffin sentiments?

They are scattered in her different card cartridges. I did put many of them together in a file, which is in the description of this video.

How would you search for sentiments like these in design space?

I found them by searching through Anna Griffin’s card cartridges. When doing an image search, choose Cartridges and type in Anna. All of her cartridges show up and you have to go in each one. Or you could just pick up my free DS file, which is listed in the description of the video. HTH.

There are a lot of prepared sentiments in Anna Griffin’s image sets, which are free to Cricut Access subscribers. Do an Image Search and choose “Image Sets”. Then type in “Anna’s” and you will see all of her cartridges.

Yes. The CardMat loses its stick quicker than the other mats, but you can restick them using Zig Memory System 2 Way Glue

Most of my designs are free if you have Cricut Access. I only do free to everyone projects on Fridays.

Can’t find the sentiments. Maybe design space is being stupid again?

When you go to search you can look for Highlighted Categories ir Image Sets. When you get there, type in Anna and there will be a slew of Anna Griffin image sets. The sentiments are in the card sets. Or you could go to the basic search and type “draw” and it will show you all the drawn images.
