Hi guys! In today’s video we are busy prepping for a shop update that I only just decided to do a few days ago! I originally wasn’t planning on doing any new designs for Easter this year but then inspiration struck and once the first idea came to me, the ideas just kept on coming! I decided to have a shop update with the new easter products, stud earrings, new earrings we are making in this video and all the leftover products from the last Emily Cromwell Designs box. Those cat earrings are seriously adorable! The Easter collection is soooo cute!!! I love how bright and cheerful all the collections are, but these last two, romance lovers and Easter are just…oh my goodness! Soo flipping adorable!!

I imagine that once you develop your product templates to apply your art to, it helps to streamline the formatting for the product files.

Then I remember that digital art lets you keep images in layers that you can rearrange and resize to fit the different product formats HAHA. I'm a derp. You are definitely inspiring me to try this type of business out too! I always wanted to do something with my art as well so I've been learning a lot!

Thank you for posting! The new collection is beautiful. Btw, anyone that wants hook earrings aren’t going to mind the two jump rings , they’re likely used to it . They flow nicely. Good job mom!

It’s so funny I was going to say how beautiful your hair looked/ if you’d gotten it professionally done and then you said you’d blown it out, haha. So pretty. Amazon has some rings that are small circles but they are faceted so they provide some sparkle, just another option to think about that could go in the place of the jump ring.❤

Oooh! You should do the florals and books pattern in a whole color set! I would DIE for a lavender one and I think it would look really pretty in a light green or mint as well 😍

Hey Im in the middle of watching this video and I am at the part where you were putting the earrings with the hooks on the cards and it was scratching the backer cards… I don’t know if you found a solution but you might want to look at getting a tool that cuts a little half circle around the hole in the card. It creates a little wing that bends out from the card and then when you put the hook thru the hole it is at a right angle so it doesnt scratch the card. I hope that makes sense.. I have seen these a lot in jewelry stores and when I bought earrings a lot of times they were made like that. Didn’t think until now actually that the reason for this is what you are experiencing. Wow it took 50 years for me to figure that out LOL!!!! Good thing I watch your videos LOL!!😊 But Im sure there is some type of punch that does this half circle, almost like the shape of a sideways rainbow. It basically ends up looking like an ear sticking out from the card if that makes sense. And it’s a small little flap not big, maybe the size of the top of an Apple Pencil.. By the way, LOVE your videos.. My favorite thing to do is, sit down and watch your video on my large computer screen while I draw on Procreate on my ipad… 😊

Earings are so pretty! You could probably find some jump rings that are different colors, like what they use for chainmail jewelry. By the way, I always look to see what kind of earings you are wearing each day!😊

Just a thought! You don’t necessarily have to put jump rings on the earrings you’re using the fish hook findings for. Some fish hook earring findings open at the bottom and you can just put your charm directly on the fish hook if that makes sense. Just another option if you don’t like the double jump ring look! I think they look dainty and cute however!

Where do you get your press ons from? If you ever want your nails done let me know! I would totally do a home appointment to be able to do whatever fun and creative nail art you would want lol although appointments In my home studio come with a cat helper who demands a hello and pets before and after each appointment

I used to make lots of earrings. Just a thought coz I just like helping solving craft questions.😅 Normally, one can just stick the charm directly to the earring hooks by lifting the loop to face the right direction and then closing it but if the loop of the acrylic charm is too thick the two jumpring works, but if you like more color you could also slip in a seed beed in each side of the jump ring without having to make a loop for the bead and do more work. I wish I could show you but I don't make videos yet. 😊Hope that helps.❤ what you did is also fine but I do understand how as an artist you have a discerning eye.
