The Master Pieces one blew Ravensburger's out of the water! Clearer, shinier and quicker to apply.

Thank you for giving us a close up shot of the finishes the glues left behind. I have been looking for a video that does that. I'm glad I finally found one. Where can I buy that glue that left a clear finish? I can't seem to find it anywhere. This video is 6 years old maybe they don't sell it anymore.

So I'm looking for something to protect a sharpie autograph on the plastic (I think? Maybe glass, probably plastic) face of a pocket watch. Would this puzzle glue stuff work? Or would the chemicals in it rub off or make the sharpie run on application?

Great vid, thanks! Had grabbed a glue&go on the fly and watched this trying to figure out the applicator, however will definitely pick up the puzzle glue instead!

Is there any difference between the master pieces jigsaw puzzle glue and the Elmer's Jigsaw puzzle glue? They both look the same as far as the bottle goes because I have the Elmer's glue haven't used it yet but was just curious?

Put a piece of wax paper under the puzzle before you use the self leveling spreadable glue.

While your results proved a preference to the Masterpieces glue, my recent experience left me with a distaste for the product. I recently bought a puzzle to frame for my young granddaughter's room. After using Elmer's Puzzle Glue (manufactured and distributed by Masterpieces), spending $30 for materials, and framing the puzzle, the glue peeled off and tore my puzzle I had worked on so hard and meticulously for my granddaughter. Now the entire project needs to be redone, and I am having trouble finding the exact replacement puzzle. Contacted MASTERPIECES customer service dept., and after sending numerous pictures of the ruined puzzle as well as sending numerous emails and answering numerous questions, all they are offering to do is send me an unrelated puzzle. Draw your own conclusions.

Neither product used above is Elmer's Puzzle Glue...
@whintx765 жыл бұрын
WTF cost you $30 in materials- it's glue! I'm drawing my own conclusion that YOU did something to mess it up- dried glue doesn't just start peeling off... Also, if you couldn't find the replacement on www.wholesalepuzzles.com, you should try www.puzzlewarehouse.com - they are the largest puzzle store in the world.

How ironic, it doesn't look like you sell the the jigsaw puzzle glue anymore but I can still get the puzzle Glue & Go. I guess Puzzle glue & Go actually outlasted Jigsaw puzzle glue.

Do you think it would have a negative affect on a puzzle that glows in the dark? It's not a black light picture but natural glow in the dark.

Why would you glue the puzzle together?
@youngadultsuis10 жыл бұрын
Well, I'd kinda figured that out on my own. Maybe I should've made my question clearer. The thing is that I see no point in ruining a puzzle by glueing it. That way nobody can ever use it again. If you're interested in getting sth nice for your wall, you can always buy a poster and frame it. I'm just sayin.
@MrLycantrophic10 жыл бұрын
MANUEL TEACHER DE INGLÉS You've already made the puzzle once, they can be used as decoration and they look great on walls. So why do you bring it together if you are not going to keep it as it is? Useless.
@janellekim45409 жыл бұрын
MANUEL TEACHER DE INGLÉS well some people get really into it, I finished my 1000 pc. in a week, but some puzzles get up to 32000, which likely are not going to be used again unless you find someone else who's hardcore like that. And they can get pretty expensive. My brother and I are getting a 5000 pc. and it was $52 new. Don't waste that so it's sold at a garage sale for $5
@autisticguyreviews7 жыл бұрын
It takes me about three hours for a 1000 piece puzzle. A 32000 piece only takes about a week.

I'd love to use glue like first one, but I haven't really find it around my area. They mostly sell stuff like Ravensburger glue you used. I have used those, and they work pretty well too, tho i used almost full bottle of glue on my 1500 piece puzzle. (ravensburger glue) and then i used Educa's glue on my 1000 piece panorama puzzle and that was pretty nasty.. Kinda sticky and messy, left some weird marks and other stuff on my puzzle what ravensburger glue didn't do. It was much more cleaner.

Too much work for some people. I mount my puzzles on foam board and I glue each piece one at a time with a glue stick after I have put the puzzle together. It works great.
@parleenghuman22736 жыл бұрын
backcue uhhhh using a glue stick for a puzzle , gluing one price at a time is too much work for people too
@whintx765 жыл бұрын
This doesn't make sense... If your puzzle is mounted on foam board, how do you then glue each piece one at a time AFTER you have already put the puzzle together?!?!?!
@naneki19923 жыл бұрын
How is gluing each individual piece one at a time less work than pouring glue and spreading it?
@backcuetheoriginal3 жыл бұрын
Are you following? I have a foam board cut to the size of the puzzle. The size is usually on the puzzle box. Then I start putting the puzzle together and as I find pieces that fit I glue them down on the foam board with a glue stick. Do you understand now?
@backcuetheoriginal3 жыл бұрын
@@naneki1992 so the time combined that it takes to put glue on the back of each puzzle piece is less time then brushing the glue on in the end because you also have to wait for it to dry and mount it on foam board. Mine is already dry and on foam board after the last piece is put down.

Hate to say this and show ur stupidity but with Ravensburgers Puzzle Glue u aren't supposed to dab it on top of the pieces and then go over it. You instead are supposed to rub it in no dabbling just straight up rubbing the glue over each piece and u wonder y ur's didn't hold properly it's because u didn't do it right. I suggest in the future read the instructions first. For a example of how u r supposed to do it watch this video m.kzfaq.info/get/bejne/g96grLt6ypqznmw.html
