A #57 drill bit is a tiny hole and I broke several of these bits drilling all the pipes so grab a couple extra bits for backup.

Or you can lay the pipe on the ground, tape it on either end so it doesn't twist, then lay a sharpie on the ground against it and run the sharpie along the pipe. Easy.

do you still happen to have the greenhouse build pdf from self sufficient farm ? They have not responded and your greenhouse build 6 years ago with the mesh screen and roll up sides is probably the best design I have seen. Thank you for your videos.

Hi ghog63. I was watching your electrical conduit pvc hoop house build. I have a question. Did you cut the connecting end off the 2" and 1.5" pvc? I'm about to try my hand at the build but was wondering if you did something different to the connectiong ends before you put them in the ground as the 1.5" will not go in the 2".

You are correct... just cut the ends off so they go in.

Thanks for all the videos, I’m researching for my DYI greenhouse and like yours a lot. My only concern is stability, I live in north Florida. How does you hoop house stand up to the wind and rain?

Yes, it has been through s few real bad storms with straight winds in excess of 70 mph. Also held up through several ice storms. It probably depends on hoe many beds you are watering and how long your beds are. Also how much water pressure you have.

@@ghog63 Well am using 5/32 drill instead hundred feet beds using half inch PVC with 2.5hp 105cc semi trash pump

@@ghog63 Yea it's the total one inch pump but I think I would use the 1/16 bit instead also I putting valve so I can always water two to three beds at the same time it's flat land by the way
