A few quick notes here. Thanks for the feedback so far! I'm reading all of it. A common question I'm seeing is "why aren't you talking over the clip after the match, why during?" 1) I think I'm pretty good (maybe not perfect) at talking during the action, which is what gave me the idea of getting the newer players "in my head" so to speak, on what I'm trying to accomplish, even while under pressure. 2) I did edit this video, but I only felt that 3-4 moments needed enhancing. If this format works with light editing I can release you much more of these. If every episode was done-over post recording from start to finish, you wouldn't get these very often, and I wouldn't be able to make as many guides also. 3) I honestly thought there was a ton of content creators already doing the "talk over a recording of a match" type thing. But this was something I hadn't seen someone else do. If at the end people aren't really a fan of this, we can chalk it up to an experiment and I can focus my efforts elsewhere (already started the next guide btw). But if it is well received I'd love to do more, I had a lot of fun with this. Cheers! (edited typos)

Great job ,keep them coming Muk.Enjoying the PvP content so far.Honestly the format is ideal and you'll be able to churn out more videos like that.As a PvP novice this gives so much insight, which is valuable.by the way what makes you stealth ? Is it a trait? I have the most games played on core Ranger and have no idea what you do to turn you invisible. Thanks

@@mechka11 I'll have a vid soon on my ranger build, but I'm using rune of the trapper, so when I use healing spring or flame trap I stealth and superspeed.

@@MuklukKZfaq Really nice video, I honestly think that commenting under (bon)fire is better since this is closer to what you feel when you actually play and helps understand how to take quick (and hopefully good) decisions rather than finding the most optimal play during a chill replay. Btw, I noticed that you tend to use GS2 a lot when roaming from one point to another, is it just to keep you busy during the downtime (since on that build GS2 is not really important and low CD), do you try to find stealthed opponents or does it proc something that I missed?
@MuklukYoutube

@@Akronox GS 2 gives your pet a buff increasing their next attack by 50% , I do it for that since my maul doesn't hit very hard, and try to swap back to axe before entering combat.

I know I'm super down with this. I'm lost in PvP. I've put in dozens of hours but I suck. I really appreciate hearing the thought process that goes into decisions and knowing how a better than average player prioritizes goals in match and what to focus on.

This is really cool and usefull, I really liked when you gave insight on the enemy players and their potential skills and mechanics to be aware, I feel like the hardest think about pvp is to learn the huge amount of matchups and play accordingly. Keep up the good content.

I like when players narrate their thoughts as they play. Helps me compare my current state of mind while I play to how higher rank ppl do. I quit for this season because I keep getting incredibly bad luck with team matches (6+ straight loses). Eventually you just have to say enough is enough and wait for the next season. Until then, deciding what's going to be my new PvP main and get really good at it in unranked.

1:25 if you see your teammate dies (and you can't safe him by ressing or giving him a rally), let him die first and then kill your opponent. This way the opponent doesn't rally from your teammate.

Maybe a post commentary instead of live commentary? Since this is suppose to be educational, you might be able to post-review to see if you should have noticed something or did something else, point out things while pausing so we don't have to keep up real time. Maybe a mixture of post and live comentary. Pause the video whenever you notice something and point it out, or pause the video when something REALLY big happens to go more in depth than a sentence of your throught process? I know more work for you as a youtuber if you decide to go that route, but it would help greatly in improving players playstyle.

I think that this is a great idea for a series, but this is definitely not the ideal format. You have to play, focus and your commentary is not that great while you are playin. Better format definitely would be if you played the game and then added the commentary after the match. You could edit the video, zoom to the details that are happening that an unexperienced eye would miss. This format i believe would be much better than this cut footage from stream.
@igorramos2010
@igorramos2010 4 жыл бұрын
I guess the whole objective of the series is to show how decisions are made in the midle of a match. You would lose the point if the commentaries were added after the game (and we're already full of youtubers doing that).
@MuklukYoutube
@MuklukYoutube 4 жыл бұрын
@@igorramos2010 What he said. I wanted to show what my thought processes were, while "under fire". There were a few small things I missed during the match that I DID go back and edit after the fact, but I covered most of what happened in this one. But thank you for the feedback! I'll make a comment and pin it so I can explain my reasoning and see if I need to change anything.

can you swap pets during combat? how is it possible. all this time i though i cant swap pets during combat
@MuklukYoutube
@MuklukYoutube 4 жыл бұрын
If you are playing a ranger (that is NOT a soulbeast) there is a button above your "5" key. It is F4 by default. That button swaps pets in the same way you can swap between 2 weapons. Soulbeasts cannot swap pets in combat, only out of combat.
