can you please NOT cut out faceoffs??? it's bad enough missing out on the footage just after whistles and right after ad breaks, but not showing the faceoffs ruins the flow of the games and is just kind of ridiculous. I love watching these games and these edits are taking the joy out of it

My bet is they're having issues with music copyright holders being jerks about the songs playing in the background of the arenas. The songs are usually playing at the times you mention here.

The added music is to drown out the leakage from the copyrighted arena music. I think the edit points around faceoffs are driven by pauses in the commentary. Often they’re talking right through the faceoffs which would make for a jarring edit. Personally I’d prefer if they just edited out the ad breaks and the intermissions.

YESSSSS!!!! 100% agree about just editing out ad breaks and intermissions, BUT leave in all the players interviews. I thought originally, before the edits came out that is what they were going to do, I was very excited for that but was kinda disappointed with the edited versions so far@@jchas

This game feels super fast!! Electric :) I will say I really miss having the pregame interviews and commentary and all the intermission stuff. Totally get taking out ads but I can’t help but feeling like we’re losing history with the rest of it. Couldn’t catch the game live and I feel like I’ve missed a lot of the pride night interviews, can’t find them anywhere else, which makes me super sad

Yeah, I'm bummed to not see the pride interviews. They were great. Even if they can't be on the game, the PWHL needs to just upload them elsewhere. It meant a lot to see the interviews they did broadcast at the x, I'd love to be able to share them.

Pace of the game is great. The teams need names... can't just go by Boston - Minnesota. But if you enjoy watching hockey, this is as good as watching the men.

where the last few recent games seem to be slower and slower to edit the games now, might want to fix that or the league growth will take hit, as some1 who is losing interested if u got wait 3 or more days to watch a game

This game goes to show you can’t win games taking so many low % shots. Teams need to take risky high shots and cross ice passes to shoot with the goalies out of position. It’s a pure skill matchup if someone takes a shot with the goalie squared up to them, and thus far in the league the goalies have shown they are more than up to that skill check. Still a great game but frustrating to watch the same things not work and tried over and over except on less than a handful of smart attempts. *rant over*
