I'm a bit behind, but mod videos are coming next, I promise! Here's some Datapacks released over the past month, working with Minecraft 1.18.1! I've had this video prepared for a few weeks, but I've been really busy over Christmas. Let's see what we can come up with in 2022!

out of curiousity, why would enderdragons make for incompatibillity, even (for example as more regular spawnable mobs) i would even love to see many more dragons spawn in the end (for example: if no dragon exists within the entire spawn raduis, do 1 spawn atempt per x000 game tics with xx% spawn chance give the thing a little less heath but the same attack-damage and make it not brake so many blocks it would make for a mighty plauge to scourge the lands - hide and run from it if you can or face it to gather dragons breath and quite some xp (but far less than vanilla's boss fight). it might even make more sense to craft (or gain) elitra from a dragon's wing, than form those small pesky swordweelding insects

Always love the recommendations but "Unluminous End" is questionable as to why it made the list. The fact that it shuts down the Ender Dragon and End Cities is a real deal breaker. What's the point of that datapack? I'm assuming that it's to showcase the author's ability to transform a biome. I won't deny that it looks nice but obviously it totally breaks The End.

To be fair it's very tedious to make crafting with custom items in the crafting table. Some data pack developers choose to do it anyway, but usually they do it in a way that conflicts with other data packs. There are some who do it right, in a way that's compatible with everything, but it's so damn painful to do right. (Coming from someone who's had to do it)
