I love Quinn in the background talking. My little 33 wk girl talked non-stop a that age too. She would just say every word in her little vocabulary. I can see red in Eric’s beard too. I love your parenting style♥️♥️♥️

I just had my first baby 12 days ago and was induced at 36+4 due to severe preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. Ended up hemorrhaging and being sent to the OR right after he was born. Spent the whole next day on magnesium and am still on blood pressure meds. Interesting to hear that you developed preeclampsia again with your second pregnancy, but so glad it wasn’t as severe! Honestly so encouraged to see how smooth your second delivery went because I have had so much anxiety surrounding getting pregnant again and potentially going through it all over.

I had a similar experience to you and my little guy is almost one now! That magnesium is so rough! I felt so bad that I missed so many thing in the first hours of him being born because I was so out of it! Wishing you the best recovery!❤️

Induction pain isn't harder than natural labor. It just seems that way because the contractions come so much faster.

Yes that's true. Because of people telling me that it was, I was shocked with how intense my contractions were in my first vbac. And my second vaginal birth after my 2nd c-section was even more intense and it lasted much longer.

I always watch your videos first when I have a choice. I just love your sweet family. Quinn talking so much was the best! So adorable! So sorry you have mastitis and breastfeeding hasn’t been as easy you hoped. I can relate to breastfeeding issues, although I was fortunate to never have mastitis. You guys are doing so great taking it day by day and you look really good and happy. ❤️

I think it is wonderful that you make these videos, when I had my kids there was nothing ( course it has been 40 years in July) It is a different world, in many ways better. It's interesting how different experiences affect our perceptions 6lb11 sounds so tiny to me!! My baby was 8lb16 and when I was born I was 9lb15.

Agree! My little girl was 3 weeks early and was still 8.4 pounds! Anything under 7 pounds i consider to be on the smaller side haha

I am OLD. Buy my daughter is expecting her first and probably only baby. When I heard the good news I realized that so much had changed since I had my 3 babies. I went on a search on U tube to learn what is going on in today pregnancy world. They thought she may have preeclampsia at about 26 weeks so I wanted to learn and that is how I found you and your family. I so enjoy keeping up with everything. And now your new Bria with such pretty hair. Anyway I may be your oldest subscriber. 😊

Congratulations! Glad you healed well. I hope mastitis passes and breastfeeding goes smoothly. I expected breastfeeding to be easy, but my milk supply was quite low so I stressed about breastfeeding for a long time. Happy to say I’ve breastfed for four months as of now and he gets a bit of formula while I’m at work due to my pump output being somewhat low. Proud of myself for what I’ve accomplished and I’m accepting of my difficult journey.

Breastfeeding was so hard for me and my boy. We went back and forth with a lactation consultant, and got mastitis a couple of times. We did not get to an "enjoyable" breastfeeding experience till about three months. But I stuck with it and everything eventually clicked between us at 3months. We continued BF well over his first year and am so happy we fought throw all the difficult. Keep at it!! You are doing amazing things with your body and baby!!!

As a redhead I know the gene is recessive. Even if you have no redheads in your family you may carry the gene. Also, you do not have to wash the pump every time. You can refrigerate the parts during the day and wash once at night.

I had SO MUCH trouble breastfeeding both of my babies for the first month. I went to lactation consultants, cried, got mastitis multiple times....however, after they each turned 1 month...it's like they just got the hang of it and it was no problem after that. Neither of mine had tongue or lip ties, but they both had small mouths. They were tiny at birth too- 6lb 14oz and 6lbs 8oz. Like you, I had high expectations the second time. Hang in there!

So happy that you had a better birth experience with Bria💕 So since you developed pre-e in the last week of your pregnancy, were you still on the baby aspirin? I had my first baby early due to preeclampsia and hellp syndrome & I'm now 34 weeks with #2 & have no symptoms of pre-e so far but I am still taking the baby aspirin and was told to do so until delivery. Love your little family💖

I’m an identical twin we both have red hair. No one on either side living for known generations has red hair. But we’ve always been told genetically to have a redhead you have to have red hair on both sides of the parents genetically. So more than likely y’all both carry that gene and just didn’t know it. Congrats on your sweet baby.

Was she born face up? I had back labor when 2 of my babies were born face up instead of face down. My smallest baby was my 1st baby at 8 pds 9 oz, then I had a 9 pound baby & my last was 9 pds 9 oz. So to me, Bria is tiny. Quinn is so smart & she was cracking me up while you were trying to answer questions.

Fun fact: both parents have to carry the same recessive gene for their child to have red hair so even though Cara doesn't have any red heads in her family she obviously carries the gene.

BTW was your C section a transverse ( low vertical) or emergency (diagonal)? If it were an emergency cut, I am shocked they let you have a vbac. I fought for mine, but for my situation it was best we didn't. I was super high rupture risk with a genetic predisposition for it.

Even in an emergency, they will do low transverse.

I Laughed so hard at Quinn Talking through the entire video..😂 I'm sitting here drinking coffee and watching this video, when Quinn said Bria was Stinky I lost I lol😂🤣 I spit My coffee out..lol. She's got her own little personality.. And Yes Cara your definitely right, Quinn is 💯 ° Erick's Mini me. I think Bria favors Him too but not near as much as Quinn does. I'm sorry that your having a hard time with Breastfeeding. I'll pray that it gets better. 🙏✝️ It's so nice that Erick is able to take time off work to help you. He's such a great Husband and Daddy..
