My friend's grandfather always told us "It is always good to think things out and do it right the first time, because you will never know if you will find the time to fix it!". I use that as my model in my work shop and hobbies. Thank you for sharing your life behind the camera. Love the DIY projects and looking forward to seeing your boat on the water in the future!

I couldn't agree more. Even if I have the time to go back and fix something, it is very hard to find even the motivation to do so! Thank you for being so supportive and patient and for watching my content beyond the Houseboat!

Thanks for the update and I will wait patiently.

You'll get it done, one step at a time. I have no doubt.

I actually love that you work on and post about so many different things. I have searched for specific things, starting with the arch greenhouse, and have repeatedly ended up on your videos because we clearly have similar interests. I think you have a great channel and can't wait to see whatever you work on, because I already know I will love it!!!

Take your time with the boat. It's nice to see it done right.

What a cool insight in all your jobs and projects! Take your time with the boat, see it as good opportunity to create some time and space to organize the whole process and content around it. You do things right and thats why I love watching your videos, and with all the qualities already here the houseboat is a project worth waiting for. Thanks Adrian!

Glad to see that someone has patience with me😄 right after uploading this video I lost subscribers, not everyone is willing to wait I guess. Thank you for your encouragement! Cheers!

Thanks for the update Adrian! I love your houseboat series. I enjoy your shop rennovations as well. To me the houseboat has a special place in my heart, given that I am building my own houseboat. Like you, life can get in the way, and I have had to overcome a lot of little issues and setbacks with the build. But slowly, step by step my own project progresses. I prefer to do it right at the cost of time, rather than just slapping things together. It takes longer, but the end result is much nicer. I am not nearly as proficient a wood worker as you are. I'm an artist and a generalist. Learning as I go. I think that the way you work is sharp and meticulous. So whenever you get back to working on the houseboat, rest assured, you will have eager and curious eyes watching those videos. In the mean time, all the best to you and your wife. Have a good winter season and a nice spring. Cheers mate! - Erik

Thank you for your kind and encouraging words! Building your own Houseboat from scratch besides having other jobs and family responsibilities is no joke and I am really glad that I didn't put myself in a position were I feel the pressure of getting it done in a certain time frame. (I am actually working on the next step on the Tiny Houseboat right now, so there should be a video coming up in the next couple weeks!)

@adrianwoodworm fortunately that is one thing we both have in common. I don't have a specific deadline to complete my build either. The sooner, the better, but the better build doesn't lend itself to swift construction. LOL. 😁 Yours is such a masterfully constructed boat. Mine is going to shine in its art and amenities, but as far as construction, it will hold up to cursory inspection. But any serious builder is going to look at some of my work and shake their head. That's okay. As long as it's strong, livable, and has a touch of artistic flare, I can live with that. 😉 Look forward to the next video my friend. Cheers!

As you said, life gets in the way. Don’t I know that! Keep at it, don’t give up, you’ll get there.

Yeah, I think we all have been there. I never felt any real pressure with this particular project though, until I started youtube😄 it has been an interesting journey so far and I am looking forward for the future! Thank you for the encouragement!🙏

Better to think things through than to rush and end up regretting a hasty decision later. Cool tree house. Love the weed harvester too. No need to apologize for taking care of your family!

is it a harvest or weeding? is there a business case?
@adrianwoodworm10 ай бұрын
It is kind of both. We harvest lake weeds. We try to weed out invasive weeds and what ever we harvest is beeing used as compost or animal feed. This is not really a business, it is financed by the members of the lake weed association and I am just hired as a operator.

Which project has the most views, even though I may not be aware of the goal. I'm certain you were aware of the commitment
@adrianwoodworm10 ай бұрын
The platform boat has by far the most views, followed by the tiny Houseboat project. I knew it is going to be a longterm project right from the beginning and I am fine with that, it is just asking a lot from my youtube audience to be that patient😄
