Hip-hop fans are cowards. They are afraid to take risks and rock some Qtip or Pharrell styles. Afraid what other niggas in the hood will say. Afraid to say "yo I fuck with jazz and classic rock n roll" Then you see these whiteboys out here dressing like hip-hop, gothic (I think that's what it is) heavy metal, or in sports jerseys, or dressing like some skaters. I admire that about white boys they can say I like heavy metal, I like 80s rap, I like techno music etc.

This is exactly why we started our own private musician's network, where songwriters, artists, producers, lawyers, A&r, and executives have come together to recreate the architecture of success in the music business. It's a worldwide collective that you must apply for and be talented enough to enter, but everyone collaborates, lands placements, records each other's albums, helps with marketing etc.

I came in an era where we sold music out of the trunk or walked in stores, barcodes; etc. I've seen a lot people loose it all dang near because they didn't have these vital gems. These brothers just broke down today's version of the rap industry in a matter of minutes, and it helps us to understand why the majority of the artists and their tracks sound so similar. It truly is a formula in which the industry executives are not interested in the substance or culture of the music, but only in the money it brings them and mindless mediocrity that is so pervasive on the on the airwaves.
