4 жыл бұрынMy first ever flight review was on the Qantas A380 in First Class….now 4 years later I’m getting the chance to experience it again. Flying from Sydney, Australia all the way to London Heathrow in the pure luxury of Qantas First Class on the Airbus A380.
This Qantas First Class flight review covers my entire journey starting at the iconic Qantas First Class Lounge in Sydney. We take off and head to Singapore where I check out the brand-new Qantas First Class Lounge at Singapore’s Changi Airport. Our journey then continues on to London Heathrow - along the way I’ll show you the Qantas First Class seat, service and entertainment system. And it wouldn’t be a Qantas First Class flight review without the famous Qantas PJs!

You’re absolutely not alone in that. While I was working for airlines and had access to business class I tasted everything. I knew it wouldn’t last and now I left the industry, it’s back to monkey class. Suffice to say I don’t enjoy that very much.

my grand father flew for qantas for 43 years he flew the queen from LHR to SYD and was there longest serving pilot, he flew the 707, 767, 747-200 ,747-400 and to finish off his career 5 years on the A380 and for 4 years was the general manger of all boeing 747 for qantas

In this economy, at my age, even with a “good and stable” job, I’m think home ownership is not in my future. So. My 5 year plan is to experience First Class on a long haul flight. Until then, thanks Dennis, I fly F vicariously through you!

Unlike many other youtube aviation reviewers, your videos aren't blandly bogged down in technicalities, condescending, or tiresome, but show your own authentic spirit and joyous energy--you're having fun while sharing your passion with the world, always kind to staff and crew (so often not the case elsewhere, sadly), and remain professional and unbiased without falling into pretentious snobbery. Apparently the 747 is flying routes to Tokyo until January. (QF25 and QF26)

Dennis old boy: You hit the ball out of the park with this review covering every interesting detail of this fabulous flight. I especially enjoyed your trying the seat features and of course, all of that lovely grub. A lot of the offerings were new to me (the duck pancakes for instance) and makes me want to search them out and try them. I cannot wait to see the new updated first class and hope it is you that presents it. Finally, here’s to you soon getting 100 K followers. Been following you for about 2.5 years, maybe a little longer, but have gone through your entire back catalogue in that time so was nice to take that journey back in time. Glad you're back! I know that some people would prefer a non-stop flight from Sydney to London but to me there is a whiff of the golden age of travel with a stopover. Too bad the stopover wasn't a wee bit longer...you could have squeezed in a shower AND a few drinks. 🙂😄That shower and the lounges were amazing. Wonderful review, as always.

The thing that makes Qantas the best is the feeling of home, bias aside, Aussies are great and chill people and it's great to be surrounded by them after being abroad for a while.

I have been waiting for this Dennis, I followed you a couple of days later SIN-LHR and couldn't agree more with your comments about the seat and the food. The crew were amazing and those new pyjamas very comfortable ( I wore the top for a morning as a shirt when I got to Israel until my luggage caught up with me and no-one looked at me strange). It felt like I was stalking you following your instagram posts but coincidences do happen. Keep up the great content and look forward to your next post.
