Great happening by Qantas! As NZ make sometimes. I regret that we don't make such thing in France... Even if , we've never been world champion... yet (hope is kife ;-) But this plane came from... Toulouse! so it is normal that he is interest about Rugby :-) Go Rugby Go!!!

Hi Qantas I had an Idea about buying 24 A340-600s for yourself 10 from Thai Airways 10 from Virgin Atlantic 4 From Qatar Airways Price : E.g if all planes are at $100 Million each that equals for 24 $2.4 Billion dollars Why to keep these birds in the sky as long as possible .

+PoorPatrician What that got to do with the price of tea??? Have you ever heard about etops? Do you know that A340 with 4 engine isn't under etops reglementation?

+William F. Qantas have a380s and 747s that do the job good, if Qantas want more 4 engine aircraft they'd just take up the remaining 8 a380 orders

PoorPatrician ok, I have a look 1: Still 8 A380 to deliver to Qantas 2: Quantas order in august 2015 8 787-9 to be substitute to old 6 747-400 www.air-journal.fr/2015-08-20-qantas-prendra-huit-boeing-787-9-dreamliner-5148805.html (in french, sorry aboht that) 3: no where I seen a topics about need for A34,0 Non Etops plane, or a need between A380 and 787! Finally, this isn't in Quantas DNA to buy 2nd hand plane (even if we sould never say never!) So finally, we should consider the initial post as a spam... and don't wasre time and NRJ about a so stupid comments. I wish you the best. Have a good world cup
