🇶🇦 Qatar turns to alternative food suppliers amid Gulf crisis

The Saudi-led blockade against Qatar has forced the government in Doha to secure food and water supplies from alternative destinations.
On June 5, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt cut diplomatic and trade ties with Qatar, accusing it of "supporting terrorism".
Saudi Arabia also closed Qatar's only land border, forcing it to import supplies via sea and air.
Freight companies from Iran, Turkey, Oman and India have stepped in to ensure there are no major shortages.
Al Jazeera's Hashem Ahelbarra reports.

Youssef Ghechi indoor farming, many countries do it. You can grow fruits, vegetables, fish all inside huge warehouses. Singapore does it since it doesn't have much land. The build tall buildings for sole produce of producing food. B/c the Middle East is mostly sand it has to become creative.

Eric Von well here some genius for you. Singapore is a tiny island with no extra land. So they produce all food inside warehouses and tall buildings. They also have technology that can grow food without soil. So leaving in sand means nothing. Living in sand is no excuse for the Middle East anymore.

some shade and energy, those cows are will make compost, mix that under mulch, it will take some time but if they work towards permaculture gardens and then indoor hydro farms, it can be done, solar and desalination.

Saudi Arabia and its puppets don't like the fact that Al Jazeera (owned by members of Qatar's ruling family)-freely broadcasts news that the Saudi gov't and its allies don't like. Also, specifically news and opinions that criticize those governments. Therefore they want the Qatari government to shut down Al Jazeera.

They are lazy, you can always find ways. Why not invest in food manufacturing in other countries, go to eastern Europe and invest in food manufacturing, you can then export it to Qatar and western Europe. They like to buy shinny buildings without thinking about their food reliance.
