At least you had parents despite being poor. My Dad lost his Dad at 6 years old and was sent around to work on land and raise other relative kids. My Dad and his siblings were so poor my Dad didn't get married until he was in his mid 20s. Most of these people like my Dad and like you are humble. The rest are self centered and unkind. HMONG people still have a long long way to be vameng. Thank you for sharing your life story.

There's plenty of Hmoob men like this. We just don't tell our stories because people will think it's a lecture. But one bad hmoob men will make us all look bad. There will be more bad stories than good, thats what everyone wants to hear anyways. lol
