Good demonstration!

New to the Griffin system "Cam Lok " and after rifle suppressor using the YHM PHANTOM'S systems. I believe this system will be best for my pistol suppression usage

Ez lok is amazing. the only way I could imagine it being any better is if it somehow has a retention locking mechanism. Probably too much to ask for on a handgun.

I will preface by saying I have used cam lok for quite a while now and it's better than direct thread by a lot. The only real problem I have found is with novice shooters. If they are not good at recoil management the cam lok can come loose a lot faster than expected. With me shooting though--I've never had a problem. For my purposes though EZ Lok is better than Cam Lok, and Cam Lok is way better than direct thread. +1 on the idea of a retention locking mechanism. That would make the EZ/Cam systems the ultimate system.

Assuming everything during your test was equal with both mounts, the direct thread appeared to have less recoil when shooting vs the EZ-LOK. Watched twice and seemed noticeable. I personally prefer direct thread when it makes the most sense.

I have seven handguns fitted with the CAM-Loc system (three 45ACP, three 9mm, and one 45acp/45 Super (HK Mark23)). The system has performed flawlessly.

I started with Cam-Lok and have gone back to direct thread for 2 reasons. 1. You have to remove the cam lok adapter every time you want to clean your pistol. 2. At about $60 each, the cam lok adapters get expensive if you have more than a few pistols.

Do you folks think you could make a muzzle device that's a compensator/cam lok in one? Like a Plan A muzzle break that you mount a silencer to but for handguns.

While I think the EZlock/CAMlock systems do offer benefits, the video's 'accuracy' demonstration was not supportive of the conclusion drawn. First, the shooting should have been done from a rest to reduce variables. Second, shooter form and firing rate were not conducive to accuracy determination. Third, the shooter concludes that his accuracy decreased as the number rounds increased and the can loosened. That is not supported by the video. The last shots in the string fired were more accurate than those fired in the middle of the string. While a full blown science experiment is not expected, a bit more preparation and professionalism are expected in a manufacturer's videos. Especially if they are trying to prove a point via a demonstration...
