Sasi Sir's playing stands out because of the feel, the emotions created by the tones, sustain and modulations. Reading a speech is simple. Reciting a poetry with emotions is excellence. A song on which the Bass Guitar has been played very nicely is "Oru Iniya Manadhu"from the 1980 film "Jhonny". Since the actual recording of this song from the film was probably done sometime in late 1979 it is very likely that late "Viji Manuel" Sir had played on this recording. Appreciate some confirmation on this matter

Great playing mani sir. IRs high octave bass lines from the 70s and 80s are so unique to his comps ; to my limited knowledge I haven’t seen that style of bass used in any genre of music. I wonder why he changed his bass style in the 90s and later. Nevertheless his songs are a lifetime of lessons for any aspiring bassist.
