Did you mean the quik baseplate caused your kingpin to break or because you were able to break a kingpin you don’t trust this system?

@@muckeyn because even hard metal kingpin can be broken on regular baseplate, I can imagine the side-pressure applied to baseplate during pumps. This one on the video will be unsafe after intensive training after few months.

What system were you using out of interest? I wonder if you meant the structural integrity btw truck and deck was lost with the application of the device?

@@jamesryan4325 No, I did not mean that. I just want to say that forces are to high that it could even break the kingpin on a regular setup: where baseplate fasten to the deck with hardware bolts. Now imagine that the baseplate is not attached to the deck with bolts but just connected with with little peace of metal rail. Answer to your first question: I snapped kingpin on Bennett Vector truck after summary of 500 km LDP pumping on it (around 30 workouts: 4 month).
