Interesting, a circle encircling infinity on the riemann sphere becomes an annulus with an infinite outer radius on the complex plane :)

The best video on this topic. This concept is not easily available in books. And many video I saw before are just giving formulas for residue at inf. And solving question over that formula. But this video explains each n every thing which I wanted to know. Very nice.

Bro there was a time when Indian mathematics and mathematicians was best.And the level of teaching maths in India was non matchable. But sadly speaking in India nowadays math is nothing but bunch of formulas and calculations. No derivation of formula no mathematical concepts. And the thing is it is not mathematics this is like u r programming and writing that formula in your code to make your computer to solve it out of different given values. In short India are producing machine in the name of engineers/scientist/etc.

Still there are professors like v. Balakrishnan who is far better than anyone in his teaching and knowledge. If you are liking the way of remembering formulas and doing question and thinking that this is what we called mathematics than plz concern urself.

Good for you mate, you memorized a formula better than the white man. However, he still understands this better than you ever will
