Launched as part of the Offshore Day 2012 celebration, which was held in Halul Island on 17 December 2012, this video showcases the 50 years of success of QP's Offshore Operations in operating, producing and exporting hydrocarbons from Qatar's offshore fields.
QP's Offshore Operations has been operating the Maydan Mahzam and Bul Hanine oil fields and the Halul Island Terminal and Export facilities for the past 50 years with excellent safety record while protecting and caring for the environment. Qatar Marine Crude from these fields represents about 28% of Qatar's total crude oil production, out of which 10% comes from QP-operated fields and 18% from QP's joint venture partners.
