Adding voltage is another easy way to go quicker. Toss a 7s lipo battery setup on there. 88v fully charged instead of the 84. With lipo you can also alter the tune up and draw a ton more amps as well. What is that battery limited to amp wise? Can also look into a fardriver controller with "field weakening". That will give you alot more rpm to work with.

Those rims are nice, I hear a lot of guys use the wheels off of a super pocket rocket x14 or off a Honda grom

Hey black i hope you are doing awesome i just got a new predator 212 engine i am going to install all its billet parts and i would be interested in installing a fuel pump but i am not sure where i should get the air for the pump should i use the governor hole that is in the block or I should use a hole in the valve cover what do you recommend? apart I also want to make decompression holes where do I make them?

I bought the qs120 with the molicel 25ah battery for my Honda z50 mini trail. Still waiting for them to come in, but I think the controller may be an issue in the qs120 kit.

Controller tuning can be just as important as gear ratios!

I'm wondering if you upgrade the motor to that qs138 90w variation and use a beefier controller to make your little bike go faster, and maybe keep up with that minibike you raced a few days ago. I mean I can imagine you would have to build a custom swing arm with suspension at some point to help the bike squat a bit upon launch to keep the front wheel from lifting with all that torque hitting the pavement. To be fair though, that race a few days ago was kind of unfair if you think about it from a weight to hp ratio. Thats like pinning a Tesla against a Kawasaki H2R that was built for racing. I bet you that guy had at least 4k in that motor build alone, because hell a stage 4 kit with a custom racing head (porting, polishing, and bore to a higher mm), 1:3 roller rockers with at least 30lb springs or higher, and a larger bore billet pistol head which is most likely ceramic coated, ultralight flywheel, and he's running methanol to boot, thats an easy 4k just in parts alone, not to mention the chrome work and the powder coating, that thing was built for racing. I bet that humbled you pretty quickly when he gave you the jump, and still blew past you like you were parked, but at least you tried. Probably would had a better chance to be near neck and neck if the heavier guy that was bragging about the build was actually racing against you rather than that little skinny guy on that bike, just sayin.

Stretch it! And use the lower gear. Even 2 inches will make a very noticeable difference.
