These two words can be questions, can connect sentences and can be interchangeable... but only sometimes. If you add an accent mark they mean one thing, without it they mean another... I know that the lack of English subtitles can make it challenging for beginners to follow, but I also appreciate opportunities to practice listening to slow Spanish, so thank you for the great content! I actually understood the majority of what you said, woo hoo!

MAURITA!! HOLA. I knew that que was what/that and that cuál was which, but I did not the rules about it. The examples were very good. I love your multiple choice exercises. Haha. For me, cuál and que just sound right where they are supposed to go. Estoy muy agradecido por tu arduo trabajo. ❤

A desde Moscu ¡Holis, mi bien! Siempre me encanta verte y escuchar tu hermosa y melodiosa voz ... Por cierto, ¿que idiomas extranjeros domina un tal Alberto? Solo tres. A que no adivinas cuales son y cual es la razon por la que a el no le gusta saber mas. Primero, aqui se dice que Dios no quiere mas que tres cosas. Segundo, con las tres lenguas, las que resultaron muy interesantes y utiles, le basta y le sobra. Tercero, el ya no tiene miedo de la perfeccion, ya que nunca la va a alcanzar. Verdad, ahora la profesora encantadora, sin ahorrar esfuerzos, trata de enseñarle el español, lo cual le alegra mucho ... Un abrazo enorme y fuerte. Te adoro. Alberto 😅❤

I'm currently progressing through the Foundations course and this is the first of your videos that I have watched. I think that the content would be very beneficial for me as a beginner BUT as pointed in a previous comment I really need to have at a minimum English subtitles. I would say if you were at the proficiency level to understand the explanations then you would probably already know the differences between Que and Cual. I would say those at the beginner level would be the audience that would benefit most from your videos but not having at least a version with English subtitles is a mistake. Your course lessons have English translations so should the videos in your channel.

Go to your viewing window in KZfaq and hit the “cc” button. Then go to the gear symbol pull-down and in the “CC” select the auto-translate option. Select English as the target translation language. Problem solved. Bonus: you can also select Spanish if you want to read what she is saying in Spanish.

I've been learning through comprehensible input for about 6 months now and I don't know the difference between the two because a lot of people teach that Qué is what and Cual is which. However, there really aren't direct conversions in any language so the closest you get is sometimes this is correct, but other times it isn't. Honestly learning with out subtitles can be difficult but if you use subtitles your reading more than you are listening. Reading is a very active thing a brain does. When I went to Guatemala last year I had achieved B1 on duolingo but I couldn't understand anyone because I was trying to translate the words from Spanish to English. Reading and listening are two different skills.

You need to make subtitles in English. OR make a video in English and a video in Spanish. 2 videos would help the channel grow!

@@paulmelde919I know how to turn on CC, but it doesn't translate well and it's hard to read. You have to stop it everytime a new set of words comes up inorder to read it correctly!
