Nice flying on that line of trees 🌲 great to see you can still challenge yourself and appreciate a nice line after all these years! I will say I’ve had good luck with iflight success-x kit. I started fpv on their 20x20 setup and have built another drone with the same stack since. IFlight has a good handle on tuning and reliability. I would love to try out this rig but I’m still on analogue fpv 📺📺📺

All of the DJI stuff went on sale starting yesterday. As I go out and fly my analog setup again, all I can think is "dang, I really need to pull the trigger and go digital". Great review Justin.

@@pooljunki1 I'm about to Chet. Did you end up getting the controller as well? That's the only thing holding me up. I'm running crossfire with a X9D, but I'm real tempted to get the DJI controller so I don't have to wire up rx's anymore and control the goggle settings from the remote. Such tough decisions, lol.

I hsve the cidora sl5 e, honestly iflight did really good with these lines of drones. They fly awsome, super durable, easy to learn on. I recomend anyone who want to get into drones to get one of these

I kinda like iflight, but every single f7 flight controller from them 1 of the gyros were bad to start or shortly went bad, so both my iflight drones with f7 fc operating on only one gyro. Kinda expensive too, geprc is way higher quality from my experience.

@@trowland9575 Definitely I've had two IFlight ESCs burnout on me (one in a BNF RS136). Their Customer service highlighted the hot glue on the receiver wires on the FC and said that could have caused the capacitors on the ESC to blow, they definately try to blame you for shoddy electronics. Also had one of their Flight controllers reboot midair on me resulting in a lost quad. Their motors are nice, but their electronics and customer service are truly awful.

I didn’t get this because for my first quad I didn’t want props in view but this is not bad at all, instead I got the hd1 from rotor riots and I still have to mail them my own gps and buzzer. I hope I made the right decision 😭. If only iflight would’ve send you this quad sooner.

Hi. Very nice flying and good test. But, what is the 5.8GHz RF Power Output was used (TX-RX) in this test? (25mW?) Thank you for your answer. I follow you now. Best reg. John Lee in Norway. PS I have just bought this drone (6S) with the DJI FPV Goggles and the DJI black controller/transmitter. But, i will make many range field tests in open space before first flight with different ant systems as is the Key to stay in the air ...

How did the 360 camera fair that crash ? That would be my biggest worry. You know they have a new metal cage mount with a firmer latch center mount upgrade as well.

Love love love those xing 2208’s. I run the 1700’s on my Flightone Dolphin 1 🐬 with some S5 props or gemfan 5043 winddancers. Really wish I would’ve gotten the 1800’s tho. May wind up buying a set soon lol.

Do you know a work around for entering Bootloader while the GPS is connected to UART3? the GPS powers on when USB is connected causing the Bootloader driver to not recognize it and the only way to update Firmware atm is to unplug the GPS module not a hard job just annoying

I know it's been asked a few times but why would you recommend this over the DC5? I'd like GPS on a DC5 but no props in the DJI camera is great. Anything else to consider (mainly for cinematic)? (Looking at the 6S versions)

Really nice video! I don't currently own any drones and am trying to decide what would make sense. One of the things I'd like to film is mountain biking that would include a view from perpendicular to the bike. Assuming I can get the skills to fly one of these bad boys, would the horizon be slanted if flying sideways? What's kind of flight times can you expect with a garmin 7/8 on board?

Did you check if the OSD (coordinates) are recorded in the goggles? What I heard the DJI Goggle doesn't record custom OSD elements, so you probably need to record the coordinates in a opentx controller.

Don't worry, the Nazgu5 is an amazing quad which will give you tons of fun. If the VTX doesn't die on you that is, which it kind of likes to do.

Expensive? You don't have to use the gopro, you get 4 km range and full hd video. What do you pay for analog if you have nothing? A lot more (goggles, transmitter, receiver)

I thought you couldn’t run 6s on the dji air unit without doing some weird voltage decrease

You can with a step down regulator I believe.

Hey Justin, in your reviews you always talk about flight time.... how was flight time in this quad? and why would anyone buy the 6S against the 4S?

12mins or more. 6S best flight time and great power.
