I just can't thank you enough for this video. My injury is a C4 incomplete, and for years, I got away with walking and everything. Slowly, but surely, my sensation and function started decreasing and now I'm in a wheelchair permanently with pressure on the spinal cord. My hand function was the only thing really affected at first and now it's ridiculously bad...so thank you for this video.

@@gimpgangster it truly does. For years I was spoiled by not having many SCI symptoms. Now it's hit me like a vengeance and these videos help me cope and figure out how to do things again and easier. Thanks.

Morgan Calvi that’s awesome! Yeah I didn’t have any videos like this when I was fresh so once I started gaining independence I thought I’d share what’s helped me so it doesn’t take someone else 7 years to figure it out. 🤘🏻

@@gimpgangster and I applaud you for that. I was quite bummed with my current situation, not because of any injury or my limitations, but stupid doctors had half the equation--thinking it's only an orthopedic issue I have--and made a bunch of bad, hasty decisions from there. They abandoned my care without getting all the info and test results. They left me with no hip joint and serious autonomic dysreflexia issues and other neurological problems. They left me struggling to fight...and these videos help the struggle less of a problem. I hope Drs. Catherine Cavanaugh (Damariscotta, ME), Ed White (Damariscotta, ME), Robert Trousdale (Mayo Clinic, MN), Matthew T Koudek (Mayo Clinic, MN), and Tad Mabry (Mayo Clinic, MN) are happy.

Hey I just bought the loops off Amazon. How do you open them and attach them to your pants? They don’t seem to be openable?

Daniel Rodriguez you loop it through. You take the back end and push it through a hole in the zipper. Then you’ll take the part you pull and loop it through the back end. Then pull it tight.
